Legendary Aspects are the special element on a Legendary item. The portion written in orange text.  These Aspects can be extracted from the item and then imprinted onto another item.  They can go on a Rare items (yellow) making them Legendary or onto another Legendary item replacing the original special element.   This can all be done at the [[Occultist]] for gold.

Some Aspects can also be target-farmed by completing specific dungeons that will reward you with an Aspect.


As well as extracting the Aspects from Legendary items you've found Aspects can also be rewarded to you and stored in your [[Codex of Power]] for use later.  The Aspects are rewarded for completing challenging [[Dungeons]].
All Aspects rewarded or extracted are permanently stored in your [[Codex of Power]] however on Seasonal realms this resets at the beginning of each new [[Seasons|Season]].  


* Aspects in your Codex of Power can be imprinted multiple times.
* Aspects extracted from Legendary Items and imprinted onto other items can be removed and imprinted onto another item but you can't place the same extracted Aspect onto multiple items at the same time.  You'll have to find an item with the same Aspect on it to imprint it onto a second item.  However, the effect of the Aspect will not stack so it's pointless.
* The Legendary item you extract an Aspect from will be destroyed in the process.


Legendary Items are account bound which means they can not be traded for, you must find them yourself.  You can swap any of your legendary items between your characters via your stash and as your 'Codex of Power' is shared between your entire account your collection of those Aspects is available to all your characters too.
