From Diablo 4 Wiki

Exquisite Blood for Lord Zir
Exquisite Blood

How to Summon Uber / Tormented Lord Zir

To summon Lord Zir, players need to offer nine Exquisite Blood at the Bloodied Altar.

There are two places to find Exquisite Blood, in Legion Events and World Boss events in World Tier 4. Multiple bottles can drop each time you complete one. You can find out when the next Legion and World Boss is due to appear in the game on this Helltide and Boss Timer page.

Exquisite Blood can also be traded with other players.

Normal Lord Zir

Torment Lord Zir

Only available in World Tier 4: Torment. He will be level 200 and all items dropped will be Item Level 925.

Defeating your first Tormented Boss drops one Resplendent Spark as a first-time reward (account bound).

Where do you Summon Lord Zir?

Players need to travel to the Ancient's Seat (Map) Dungeon when they have enough Exquisite Blood. This Dungeon is reached by heading into the Darkened Way and you will see it marked on the mini-map once inside.

If you die during the fight you will not need to use another nine bottles of Exquisite Blood. You can simply reenter the room.

Defeating Lord Zir

Lord Zir has one of the best entrances in the game and always enters from the very back of the room, slowly emerging from a vat of blood.

Lord Zir inflicts some devastating physical attacks but as with Varshan he also has plenty of Shadow based attacks.

  • The first hazard, (which lasts throughout the fight), are Pools of Blood that appear randomly and slowly slide across the floor. Running over them will slow (CC) you and inflict Shadow damage. These Pools of Blood periodically form projectiles of blood that fan out in all directions slowing and making you Vulnerable on impact.

Melee Attacks

  • A regular Claw Swipe to the front with no real telegraph but they're not very damaging.
  • The other, is a Wing Swipe where he whips around swiping behind him with the leading wing. Again, that's fairly quick and difficult to Evade so if you have positioned yourself directly behind him for an advantage, either have good Dodge or protection.

  • His final physical attack is a pretty devastating Wing Clap. However, this has a great telegraph where he rears up on his hind legs, pulls his wings back for a second or two before clapping them together which gives you ample time to Evade and/or attack.

Summoning

Lord Zir also summons. He will hunker down bringing his wings together as he summons either a ball of blood or a Blood Seeker and Sanguine Magus minion underneath them.

The Blood Balls hover around the room very slowly. They don't inflict any damage and you can't run into them as they're above you. These balls will stop and produce a wave which rolls across the entire screen. They look more menacing than they are as they do very little damage of any kind.

Ranged Attack

Lord Zir will disappear into the air and land in a random location accompanied by a cloud of dread bats. He will mark out a zone from himself across the entire room and adjust its position to target you, sending a very obvious Telegraph enabling you to get out of the way. With a slap of his wings, he sends out a mighty wave of air that knocks you back, inflicting physical damage.

Final Flurry

As Lord Zir gets down to his last 20% health pretty much everything is going off. The floor is covered in pools of blood, blood balls are throwing waves and Zir himself flaps his wings ferociously issuing lots of blood projectiles all around him, inflicting Shadow Damageand making you Vulnerable.
