Aspect of Surprise can be salvaged from any found Legendary item at the Blacksmith and it will be stored in your Codex of Power. Visit the Occultist to imprint the Legendary Aspect onto another Legendary or Rare item.

Aspect of Surprise
 Offensive When you Evade or Shadow Step, you drop a cluster of exploding Stun (CC) Grenades that deal [90 - 225] total Physical damage and Stun (CC) enemies for 1.00 second.Your Stun (CC) Grenades deal [25 - 40]% increased damage.

  • Now additionally increases Grenade Skill damage by 25-40%.

Patch 1.4.3, June 27, 2024

  • Grenade damage increased by 200%.
  • When using Shadow Step, Grenades now drop at the location the player teleports to instead of where they teleported from.
    • "Developer’s Note: This only changes where the Grenades drop when using Shadow Step, and not Evade."
