The Grandfather is a Mythic Unique available exclusively in the Torment difficulty tiers. Drop rates improve as you progress into higher Torment levels.

Target Farm The Grandfather from:

While any monster can drop The Grandfather, Belial offers the highest drop rates by far. Andariel and Duriel come next, with 50% better odds than other Lair Bosses.

Belial in the Palace of the Deceiver, in Amber Sands, Kehjistan (Map).
Andariel in the Hanged Man's Hall, near Tarsarak in Kehjistan (Map).
Duriel in the Gaping Grevasse near Gea Kul in Kehjistan (Map).
Can be crafted at the Jewelers.

The Barbarian and Necromancer can equip the The Grandfather.

Type: Mythic Unique Two-Handed Sword
Class: Barbarian, Necromancer

Description: Increases your Critical Strike Damage by 100%[x]. The other properties on this weapon can roll higher than normal.

Ignore Durability Loss

+220 All Stats
+300% Damage
+1,800 Maximum Life
+20 Maximum Resource

Mythic Unique Rules

Always drop as Ancestral with 800 Item Power.
Will always have at least 1 Greater Affix.
Can be Masterworked.
Can add sockets.
Can not be Tempered.
Can not be Enchanted.
