Can you believe it’s been 20 years? 20 years and the game is still massively popular which is quite an accomplishment. It’s time to take a trip down memory lane and take a look back at Diablo 2’s launch.

Blizzard is celebrating 20 years of Diablo 2 with a few goodies including a retrospective from current the Diablo IV  team, some speedrunning action, a limited edition Lord of Terror bust, and you can grab some Prime Evil Wings.

Yesterday IGN posted a snippet of a longer interview with Max Schaefer and Matt Uelmen. In that snippet, they talked about the rumoured Diablo remaster. A longer version of that interview is now available for your viewing pleasure.

We are waiting for some indication from Blizzard that the much talked about Diablo 2 remaster is in development. Today Max Schaefer and Matt Uelman who worked on the original at Blizzard North talk about what they would like to see in a Diablo 2 remaster from Blizzard.

Just in case you forgot, the Diablo 2 ladder is resetting today (5 June). Seeing as resets are never that well publicised, I thought this would be a timely reminder to the Diablo 2 community here at PureDiablo.

A few days ago we reported that Blizzard would be taking part in IGN’s Summer of Gaming events. We have no idea what Blizzard will be showing but there is now a schedule of events from IGN. Could one of the listings be that Diablo 2 remaster?

The Diablo 2 remaster rumour mill is churning again following the latest Activision Blizzard financial call. We’ve heard a Diablo 2 remaster can’t easily be done from the man behind the original but are Blizzard working on something after all?

The Diablo community comes up with some cracking stuff, whether it’s fan art, cosplay or in this case even music. A cover version of the Diablo 2 Rogue Theme, which you will all recognise, has been posted for your listening pleasure.
