Season 9 is dropping soon, and in order to set the scene for the Sins of the Horadrim, a new Diablo 4 Season 9 prequel comic called Apotheosis is now available.
Decades before Lilith’s return to Sanctuary, Donan sets another ward on the soulstone holding back the evil of Astaroth. In doing so, he reflects on the thin line the Horadrim walk between forbidden knowledge and the role that knowledge plays in protecting Sanctuary.
The comic comes in two formats, a visual read or a motion comic which is voiced by James Goode, who plays Donan in the game. I would give the motion comic a watch, the other version is a bit trickier to read. Also, you get he voiceover which is a huge plus.
