Diablo 3 came out with inferno difficulty. It was very challenging to begin with. In an open world game, I would like a very challenging difficulty, But I also want it to be rewarding. how do you make that happen?
Its exciting to kill an elite that is keeping you from progressing to the next level of your growth as a feared warrior of the light. This progression also has downfalls as we know called power creep. Rewards should be meaningful and powerful without being overpowered. So, I leave it up to you how can we feel satisfied and wanting more without going overboard?
