Thin pickings without any new Blizzard artwork for some time, and there’s just one new Diablo 3 wallpaper this week, by HolyKnight3000. He’s taken the classic image of the Tristram cathedral and stuck it into his Fiery Runes: Locations theme, with a special, blue-hued alchemy background. Like most wallpapers, this one should be viewed at the largest size to see the details clearly. Click the image to do so, and to see the full caption, along with links to get this one in different sizes and dimensions. A quote:
The first new FRS wallpaper since the anniversary; Locations X ? Tristram Cathedral is a cool tweak of the Xiansai wallpaper. I thought making it have the blue theme would be a nice change from all the red again. The blue runes really glow, and I was worried they would draw attention more than the picture of the Tristram Cathedral in the circle.
I originally had this finished up before the anniversaries, but wanted to hold off until the anniversaries were done. I was also working on the news piece – Diablo III: A Year in Wallpapers, for at least two weeks. I hope you guys like the blue change this week, I?ll see you all next week for another installment.
