Blizzard has included a nice bonus with the launch of Patch 2.1. Running from now through next Tuesday all gold find is receiving a 100% bonus, and they are doubling the number of Treasure Goblins as well.
[blue]To celebrate the arrival of this major content update, all players who log into Diablo III this week on Windows or Mac will not only receive a +100% bonus to Gold Find, but all Treasure Goblin spawns in the game have been doubled! (As with our previous buff, please note that the Gold Find bonus will stack multiplicatively with existing bonuses including those provided by items and Paragon points.)

Note that this runs until next week, so anyone doing a new seasonal character this weekend will get a nice boost in their building up their gold with their new, empty account. Just remember how annoying it was to gold up in the first place, what with buying stash tabs and paying for all the Artisan training!
Also, unclear what double goblins means. Will we find them twice as often? Or will they actually be standing around in pairs, like they’re being wingmen for each other?
