I hadn’t realised this but [wiki]Chris Metzen[/wiki] is also involved in writing comics for other fantasies. Of course he’s involved in Blizzard’s, his most recent being the [wiki]Book of Cain[/wiki] but I came across a tweet today releasing a couple of images from a Transformers comic that he appears to be writing along with Flint Dille who also did the text for the Book of Cain. If you like Chris’s work and enjoy comics it’s probably something worth bookmarking.
My Book of Cain arrived a couple of hours ago. I had a quick flick through it and it’s a lot thicker than I was expecting but I daren’t sit down to read it or that’ll be my day gone. It has an envelope at the back, sealed with a ‘wax’ seal which contains a lovely map and I’m contemplating whether to pop that in a nice frame on the wall. It’s a nice piece of art and wouldn’t look out of place in my shrine next to my other other pieces.
Talking of gifts in the post I got a 10 year anniversary goodie gift box from Rockstar Games for GTA yesterday and it had a lovely t-shirt in and a cool mug but also a pair of brass knuckle dusters. I mean, what am I supposed to do with those? Just struck me as a bizarre thing to send.
