What do you think will happen at The Game Awards? Vote.

We are now hours away from finding out what’s in store for Diablo 4 at The Game Awards. What will we get?

We’ve been thinking long and hard about what the different options could be for an announcement and have posted a poll on Twitter to see what you think. But what have we picked these specific possibilities?

Let’s look at each option and the reasoning.

Option 1

There has now been too much evidence for the next class not to be the Paladin. Whether it’s the recent flail image, previous placeholder images, datamined info etc.

Option 2

For all the reasons in option 1, plus the delay of The Tower, the Season launch during The Game Awards. There was no reason to delay the launch for a few days unless it was tied to something that was about to happen live.

Option 3

All the reasons above, and the simple fact that an expansion always launches with a new class. We also know this expansion was pushed back, and the Paladin class could have been designed and completed in time for an earlier launch date, and work on a new class would have already started.

Whatever happens later today, I think we are in for a treat. If option 2 and option 3 come to fruition then there’s going to be hell of an excited community.
