The Jeweler offers services that focus on gems, runes and legendary jewelry and mythic items.

You gain access to the jeweler at level 20 when you receive a quest to visit a Jeweler in Kyovashad (Map) who will ask you to do some simple gem crafting.

Which Services Do Jewelers Provide?

How Do I Craft Gems?

Gems drop from monsters, appear in Cache rewards, or can be mined from ore veins found across the world (usually at the base of rocky terrain). You can socket them into gear immediately, or take them to the Jeweler to combine multiples into higher-quality versions with stronger bonuses.

Gem fragments are also required at the Jeweler when crafting Jewelery Caches.

How Do I Add Sockets to Items?

• Add up to 2 sockets to any quality of item.
• They will charge gold and a quantity of Crafting Materials depending on the type and quality of item.

How Do I Unsocket Gems and Runes?

• The Jeweler can remove a Gem or Rune from an item for free.
• If an item already has a Gem or Rune socketed, you can replace it by inserting a new one. The previous socketable is automatically returned to your inventory.
• Salvaging an item never destroys socketables; they are always returned to your inventory.

How Do I Craft Mythic Items?

Mythic Uniques can be crafted at the Jewelers. You will require:

• 2 Resplendent Sparks
• 6 Legendary Runes
• 6 Rare Runes
• 6 Magic Runes
• 5,000 Gold

Changes to Jeweler

Patch 2.0.1, October 8 2024

• The Jeweler is now accessible at Level 1 instead of at Level 15.
• Chipped Gems can now be crafted at Level 1 instead of Level 15.
• Gem Fragments now start dropping at Level 5.
• Socketing costs only require Scattered Prisms for Ancestral items. Additionally, Scattered Prisms will no longer drop prior to playing Torment Difficulties.
