Diablo 2 Resurrected ladder trading is here! With less than 24 hours until the first D2R ladder starts, we’ve made some changes to make trading your ladder items as easy as ever. The Trading Marketplace now has two new forums: Ladder Quick Trades . These serve the same function as the original forums, but they are exclusively for Ladder trading. If you are looking to trade a few items or you are looking for something specific, the Ladder Quick Trades forum is the place to start. Alongside that, if you want to sell off a collection or maintain ‘inventory’ that traders are looking for, open a Trading Shop.
Once the Ladder season gets underway, we will monitor how these new forums are being used and make any adjustments due to your feedback and comments. For now, we are not initiating any new rules changes regarding the Ladder forums, but be aware that the same rules & etiquette apply to these new forums. We will also be moderating to make sure that users are posting in the correct forums. Just be aware of what forum you are posting to before you submit, to make sure that the right people see your post!
The Price Check forum will remain undivided, as it serves multiple game modes. Unless you specify otherwise, it will be assumed that you are looking for a ladder price. Please indicate if you are looking for non-ladder prices when you post to assist the price checkers.
Along with the updates to the forums, we are going to be phasing in Ladder prices to Diablo 2 Price Check Tool. Look for regular updates to the D2R20 – the 20 most searched items in our database. These include staples like Shako, SoJ, and high runes. We want you to have the most accurate information possible, and these items are the ones that our users want prices for above all other items.
Our next step is focusing on commodity and currency prices. Crafting is an important part of building your character. We will check on bulk runes and gems once a week to make sure that our prices are in line with the market. The next piece is currency: runes, keys, and unidentified torches. These are all very fluid, but we’ve decided that updates will be done bi-weekly. This will ensure that we have accurate prices and if adjustments need to be made, we can do those on the fly. The great thing about Pure Price is that updates can be done simply and quickly – so if something is out of line and you bring it to our attention, we can correct it with haste.
Finally, we will update the bulk of the items after the first week of ladder launch. This gives us some time to gather data (and enjoy Ladder launch ourselves!) and then we can set our initial prices. If you are in need of a price check before we set our initial prices, please make a post on the Price Check forum and we will do our best to find you a current price. Just have some patience with us as we phase in all the Ladder prices.
As with all new things on the site, they will be reviewed regularly based on the community feedback so expect tweaks and updates in the days and weeks ahead. Exciting times as Diablo 2 Resurrected ladder trading gets underway tomorrow.
