As we reported earlier in the week, we are expecting some big news coming for Diablo 4 at the IGN Fan Fest. What could it be? Well it’s likely the beta start date announcement.
The Diablo 4 segment of the IGN Fan Fest on the final day of the event which will kick off on Saturday, February 18 Starting at 10am PT. We are assuming because it’s listed first it will be the first thing in the day. Here’s hoping.
While we don’t know if Rod Fregusson’s previous hint that there would be a beta start date announcement was merely a ruse, the IGN update reads:
The battle between Heaven and Hell rages on as Diablo IV bursts forth this summer. IGN sits down with Joe Shely, Game Director for Diablo 4, to talk about what’s on the horizon for the blockbuster game, answer some of your burning questions, and maybe reveal something new. Stay awhile and listen.
Of course, Joe may just reveal some new game system and there will be no beta announcement, but based on Rod’s comment, we have to assume it will appear. Here’s a reminder of his tweet:
