So where are those patch notes? Fear not! The Diablo 4 Season 1 patch notes are expected to drop in the morning PST. That’s evening today if you’re reading this in Europe.
Pez has no doubt been inundated with requests for a time for the notes to appear and he’s finally caved with a rough timing. What we do know is that the patch notes are going to be huge at around 6600 words so expect a long read when they do drop.
The reason it takes so long to get patch notes out is localisation. One of our ex-staffers who is now at Blizzard said that this was always a big deal. Getting approval for all languages before the notes went out took quite some time.
