BlizzCon makes a return between November 3-4 at its usual location in Annaheim. This evening we got details on tickets sale dates and some more information about the event itself.
If you are planning on going this year, tickets will go on sale Saturday, July 8 at 10 a.m. PDT for the first wave and Saturday, July 22 at 10 a.m. PDT for the second wave.
There are two types of tickets, the General Admission at $299 and a super expensive Portal Pass at $799 which means access to a Portal Pass Lounge, early entry each day, and shorter queues.
I had no idea you had to now get in a draw to watch the opening ceremony in the same room, but apparently, that’s a thing now.
All panels, as well as Community Night, will also take place in the BlizzCon Arena, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Just like the Opening Ceremony, all panels and Community Night will be simulcast around BlizzCon, as well as live streamed for free to our virtual attendees.
We’re bringing all on-stage stage activities to the BlizzCon Arena as we strive to bring a one-of-a-kind immersive experience throughout the venue. This gives us an opportunity to enhance the experiential aspect of the show for in-person attendees, and allows us to bring a comprehensive virtual experience for those to choose to tune in from home.

With Diablo 4 now out and the Diablo franchise in a pretty good place right now, it will interesting to see if there is much focus on it at all this year.
