Living Steel is a Lair Boss Key used to open Grigoire's Hoard (Reward Chest) in the Hall of the Penitent (Map) in the Dry Steppes. It is also used to craft a Shard of Agony which is a Lair Boss Key required to access Duriel's Hoard. Lair Boss Keys are items needed to open the Lair Boss Hoard (Loot Chest) after defeating the Lair Boss. They are not physical keys but simply a consumable item required to access the hoard’s rewards.
- Lair Boss Keys drop in End Game activities such as Helltides, Nightmare Dungeons, Whispers, World Bosses and Legion Events.
- They can be crafted at the Alchemist.
- If in a group each player needs their own Key.
- Stack up to 100.
