The Jeweler in Diablo 4 offers services that focus entirely on gems. Gem Fragments are found as loot or rewarded in Caches and it's the Jeweler who upgrades them and helps you add them to items.
Gem Management
The main bulk of their services are focussed on gems:
- Craft gems into 4 different grades of quality - Chipped, Normal, Flawless or Royal.
- Add sockets to items (see table below) costing one Scattered Prisms.
- Unsocket gems that are socketed in items. The cost to unsocket is displayed at the bottom of the item's tooltip. It increases depending on how high its Item Power is. Neither the gem or the item disappear.
Adding Sockets
For the price of 1 Scattered Prism the Jeweler will add a socket to a Magic, Rare, Legendary and Unique item.
