Overpower

  • The player is Fortified
    When you cast a skill, it has a chance to Overpower all the damage it deals.
  • Overpowers deal bonus damage based on the sum of your current Life and Fortify. With the Fortify mechanic it is the Barbarian, Druid and Necromancer that take full advantage of it.
  • The bonus damage dealt scales with the skill that is Overpowered.
  • Damage over time (DoT), passive abilities, and Channeled skills cannot be Overpower.
  • Your chance to Overpower cannot increase a basic stat, but they can be guaranteed by specific effects.

Indicators of Overpower

  • When an attack Overpowers, the damage will appear in blue.
  • If an attack Overpowers and Crits, damage text will appear in orange.

Base Damage * Stat Bonuses + ((Life + Fortified Life) * Stat Bonuses) * Overpower Bonus = Overpowered Damage
