Seeds of hatred are part of Diablo 4's PvP eng-game system.

Seeds of Hatred are acquired inside the Fields of Hatred zones from monsters you have killed.

The seeds will be dropped if you are killed in PvP combat and acquired by the other player on your death.

Seeds can be converted to Red Dust at the Altar of Extraction and once converted to Red Dust cannot be looted by other players.

The Red Dust can be redeemed at the PvP Cosmetic and Mount Vendors for ornamental rewards.
