'''Varshan''' is an [[endgame]] boss who can be target-farmed for unique items in the Malignant Burrow. He was added in [[Season 1]]: Season of the Malignant. Following the release of the [[Patch 1-2-0|Patch 1.2.0]], Varshan was added to the [[Boss Ladder]] on both the Seasonal and Eternal realms. Varshan is available in World Tier 3 and World Tier 4.

To summon Varshan, players must first collect the following items:

Defeating your first Tormented Boss drops one [[Resplendent Spark]] as a first-time reward (account bound).

 

 

 

 

The best way to obtain these items is to get them in cache rewards from the [[Whispers of the Dead]] objectives for the [[Tree of Whispers]]. They can also be crafted at the [[Alchemist]].

Varshan is summoned within the [https://diablo4.purediablo.com/map/#id=78a977c7-d9ce-4146-957c-1e67c96d1c8c Malignant Burrow [Map<nowiki>]</nowiki>] next to the [[Tree of Whispers]]. Inside the Burrow, you'll see an alter which is where you deposit the body parts to perform the ritual.  If you die during the fight you can reenter his arena without using more body parts.
