Runes allow you to slot two runes into certain items to create a Runeword that triggers effects including class skills

Runes can be traded.
Runes are stackable in the socketable inventory tab.
A maximum of 2 Runewords can be equipped at once.
The same Rune cannot be equipped twice.
Runes can be used in crafting.

Tal Rune

Type: Magic
Requires: 100 Offering (Overflow: Increased Swarms Spawned)
Invocation Rune: Invoke the Spiritborn's Pestilent Swarm, dealing poison damage to enemies.
Cooldown: 1 second

Changes to Tal Rune

Patch 2.0.5, November 19, 2024

Now spawns 3 Pestilent Swarms at a time.
Damage reduced from 300% to 150%.
