A Mutterlock Chest is an extremely rare chest that can appear in Nightmare Dungeons. When you click on the chest you will be presented with a list of Latin phrases and picking the correct phrase will open the chest.
To find the correct phrase look around the area for small standing stones. When you click on each stone a single word will be whispered. This will give you the correct phrase to select and gain access to the chest.
The items in the chest aren't always great but they drop 500 Murmuring Obols.
