Abattoir of Zir

From Diablo 4 Wiki

The Abattoir of Zir is a Diablo 4 Season 2 content update that was added to the game in patch 1.2.3 which released on 5 December 2023. The content was announced at BlizzCon 2023[1].

What is Abattoir of Zir?

This content is described by Blizzard as a "pinnacle" dungeon experience that gets increasingly hard. Each time Abattoir of Zir is run, players have a limited time to clear it and defeat the boss. There are a total of 25 tiers to the Abattoir of Zir.

This is Post-Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon content (enemy health will scale up well above level 154),

Blizzard has stated that this is incredibly tough at higher tiers.

Players used to running Greater Rifts in Diablo 3 will be familiar with the format.

How will my build perform?

Players who have played the Abattoir of Zir, as well as Blizzard, have commented that you will either need a well optimised build to progress and that the endgame build you are currently running may not manage the higher tiers. Again, this is a very hard end-game experience.

This event is expected to end at the end of Season 2. However, there is always the chance it will either continue in some form or be resurrected at a later date.
