:* Unsocket gems that are socketed in items. This is free and can be done as many times as you wish. Neither the gem or item disappear.

:* Add sockets to items (see below) costing one [[Scattered Prism|Scattered Prisms]].

Jewelry consists of Rings and Amulets both of which can be upgraded 5 times.  All qualities of items can be upgraded, <span class="magic">Magic</span>, <span class="rare">Rare</span>, <span class="legendary">Legendary</span> and <span class="unique">Unique</span>.
