The Shapeshifting MP Group

Definitely! Bears and wolves don't run from Vipers, or anything for that matter.

While we still have A5 to go, any ideas for a third project, after the Avengers and the Shapeshifters?

I'd participate in anything of course, one suggestions from my side would be "Whirlers". I'd enjoy making another WW Sin, and would love to see WW action all over the screen. :) Barb isn't too exciting maybe, and the only other choice is Sin, so depends if you feel like playing either...

Another char I'd love to build is a support Barb like this, providing both crazy damage boost and sturdiness to the party:

I'd need to farm some of the runes for a 2nd Last Wish, but I'd be willing to do that if it means I get to play this guy. :)

well, that would remind me of the merc's merc tourney .... so a group of support chars? maybe with a limit to number of pets so we dont lag the crap out of the game .. say three plus merc ... similar to the theme of "majority of killing done by vengeance" and "majority of kiling done in wereform" could be "majority of killing done by pets/merc/passive skills/indirectly?" ?

edit: or your main killing skill must be an oskill - that would allow you to make the whirlsin and would not be so slow as support chars ...

@skiffcz Maybe be a bit boring to only watch Mercs and pets fighting tbh :) I was more thinking of one Barb making a group of physical fighters even stronger.

2x Last Wish provides lvl 34 Might for a whopping 370 ED, plus could easily get lvl 40+ BO and Shout, Defiance Merc for insane defense etc.... Barb has many more options to play such a support role, like WC to stun-lock monsters or BC to reduce defense, Double Throw Lacerator for constant Amp... Would be fun building such a support specialist for an MP group.

But doesn't have to be any time soon anyway. Post-RFL would spare me the hassle of farming the missing runes now after all. :)

well actually, the last three levels from 76 to 79 leveling my wolfbarb I played him as full IK whirler and was thinking this char is actually fun, I should build one after this. Thinking of it, Whor was leveled as full tals blizzy, too. This is fun idea I like it and it does not require insane gear to participate.

yeah you are right plus it would be certainly a downgrade in questing speed and impossible to get done over two sessions

Looks like I messed up the videos last night and they have no sound :(
Trouble is the tool I use to record the audio from the computer mutes the computer speakers anyway, so you can't tell. Just tested again and it is working, so I must have run from my -ns shourtcut last night.

I recorded some gameplay as well, but I think I'll link to yours in my Mat thread, it has some of those awesome hermaphrodite animations... I mean think about it: When an Amazon dodges an attack in Bear form, she transforms to a Druid and back to bear again. :D

I love that graphics glitch - I managed to screenshot it when I did my Bearzon, I saw it quite a few times in the MP game.

This.

Played a fuzzy dodger and it's quite rare (and appears so quickly) to see such animations. But it's very noticeable in the videos...
