Swallow the sun is awesome!

True. Swallow the Sun and Ahab are my favourites among funeral doom so far. If you haven't already, you should really check out Ahab. Especially 'The Boats of the Glen Carrig' and 'The Call of the Wretched Sea'. Insane atmosphere.

For something completely different ... After 13 years the progpop 'supergroup' Kino has released it's second album, Radio Voltaire. It's just so good !!

I just discovered this Dutch band, which plays atmospheric blackened death metal. Amazing stuff !!

Went to a Thundercat concert tonight and for the first time I noticed the line at ~0:43-0:50

Just discovered this band through Angry Metal Guy's Top 10 list of 2018. Amazing stuff.

A lot of the albums in the list are very good actually.
