@d2lover: You should really change the text language to English, it will improve your screenshots a lot here and elsewhere in the internet. In the Battlenet launcher, click on the cogwheel part of the blue Play button, select "modify install", put a checkmark to English in the list, set the default text language to English and click on the "modify install" button (respectively the German counterparts). The speech language is left at German, of course, because Diablo sounds much scarier when he's saying "NICHT EINMAL DER TOD KANN DICH VOR MIR RETTEN" .

I'm going to play D2R with German speech RIGHT NOW!
I really should be asleep, though.

Yeah really, as soon as I've got a pc which can run D2 reloaded, I'm going with German for sure. The names are just better in German, I love d2lover's screenshots ^^ Looking forward to the German sound as well, even though I've been playing silent for years

keep in mind that some baseitems share the same name:

Spitzhelm (can be spired helm or stealskull)
Langbogen (ravenclaw vs Great bow)
beschlagenes Leder (i think iceblink and cow kings armor)

maybe some other's too

In that case, make a directory data/local in the D2 directory and put a file "Use" into it (without file extension), containing nothing but a 0 (zero), by using a text editor. So that's no excuse

It will just affect the texts, the speech will remain as it is.

Does this mean you can enter 1, 2, 3 etc to change to non-English language text?

Same for English: dimension shard, dimensional blade. O well, will take forever to get a new pc together... but one can dream. Until then, keep them coming

Regarding german language screenshots, I rather enjoy deciphering them (I took German in high school, lo these many years ago....)

One thing that really struck me was Gift = Poison... that might say something about German and/or English, not sure which...

Been running LK in 1.08... no runes yet, but lotsa goodies from the chests and poppables... was delighted to get a 4os +3/15% sup Diamond bow, those don't drop in 1.07 (gotta gamble for Diamond Bows there so no white/grey)

Really great charms and jewels:

I hadn't realized you could get that much +maxdam on a jewel at that rlvl!! LLD9 capable, woot! Also got a Rusty jewel of Freedom that is rlvl9, and a Silver jewel of Carnage that is rlvl18 for LLD18!

Best jewel was this one, though...Awesome roll!!!

Been grabbing 5%FRW scs too, those are very, very nice! Was quite pleased to get a max Serpent's one... also got one with FR, and several others that were plain/had a useless prefix...
