Seriously, it took me less than a minute to find it. I just entered my very first run, killed the mobs, Zod dropped, I picked it and then exited.

Wow, I am still shaking and this is my second Zod. First one was found like 3 years ago.

Pffft, unless you found one before 1.13 it doesn't count :p

Seriously, congratulations. Make an eBoTD Colossus Blade. Or if you have one already, save it.

Just don't listen to the weird Zod god cultists....

Even in 1.13 that's an amazing drop. Don't spend it all in one place. Eldritch will come after you. It took him ages to cube those El's.

Congrats! What are the plans for it???

Congrats!

I would make BotD in a GPA. The only reason to make it in a CB is to have the option of a barbarian wearing it one-handed as well, just in case. However, Zod is so rare that I think it's better to use a spare Grief one-hander instead in that case.

BotD in a GPA reaches fastest WW speed and it deals as much damage as a 2-handed CB, but with range 5, so it's the better WW weapon, and it has lower requirements as well. Theoretically, you could also give it to an act 2 merc which might be useful for Travincal, so he can have CB, FHR and resists from the helm and armor.

In my opinion, zoding an ethereal Ribcracker is only an option if this is your third Zod or so.

I made one in a CB for a concentrate barbarian (using a cubed Zod), mostly because I was bored of using Grief on every build. I then found a Zod within a week (I think it was a week...) of making the bloody thing, so I made one in a WP for a charger or barbarian. Make something that you will enjoy, not something 'efficient', because that isn't BotD most of the time anyway :P

The question is at which point or time do you want efficiency to be the deciding factor. You usually build your the efficient characters first and the less efficient ones second. If there's a matter of efficiency to be solved with a Zod run, I would do it. If I find further Zod runes - who knows. That would be... efficient :p

I just kept mine to look pretty in the flavie report. I don't cube runes unless for immediate use, so I can be sure that my flavie report reflects dropped runes only =)

Congrats! That's the exact same place I found my one and only Zod, over 10 years ago. Of course, that's now long gone when my battle.net accounts went inactive for 5+ years....

Thanks for the info mate. I will keep everything in mind!

And here's the topic of my first Zod 5 years ago as it seems!

Thanks for reminding me that I'm no longer the zod god AND I used to have an extra thing for my profile saying I was the zod god.
