I thought I had migrated all the linked posts like my other 99er write ups, but it turns out not for her. Okay, another sub-task on my goal for 2022 to tidy up 99er threads and posts!

I didn't have patience to wait anymore so i decided to do 3rd patch of lk. Really wanted to finally get a beast.
Took me 749 runs to finish. Don't remember excatly how much cubing i did, but wanted to keep one Lo so atleast one sur was needed.
After roaming in pits for a while i decided it's time to get the cow set out of the way. Rolled map in nm with rakanishu next to wp pretty quickly. I didn't count any of these runs so i have no idea how long it took. Running cows is extremely boring for me so i took a break from playing after finding the hat in nm. Ended up finding 2 armors and 2 hats before dropping the boots.
After moving back to hell difficulty i did some testing between beast (75 fcr) and hoto (125 fcr). Turned out that i was doing much better with hoto. That made me use first respec and try poison and see how that feels. I'd say both are pretty equal with hoto. After so many lk runs i even had 7 poison and bone skillers. I did loose lot's of life and almost maxed bone armor synergies after respec since i was using mostly 20 life small charms with summoner.
That being said i'll definately start picking up crafting materials and skulls again. Ultimate goal is going to be 125 fcr with either beast or dweb.

Hello again, I am still new to this so I hope I done this well, I made a separate thread to log my progress but so far my 4th try is going ok only lvl 23 so early days but andy dropped Nagel which was a good start and I decided to forget about the javelin for now and go with the bow. It makes more sense on HC normal I think so far I am happy. Not only is she still alive but i I acctually enjoy playing the game. I dont think i ever visited the ancient tunnels in a normal mode before. It's nice not to just rush to the end but takes things step by step.

Hello all, it's been a while since I updated, but Ledyne the pure blizzard sorceress hit level 94 this morning! I surprisingly didn't do any gaming over the holidays and also took a few breaks recently to play some other Microsoft games (troll comment I know, it just sounds so weird and also hardly narrows it down), but I have to kick things up a notch now that @Grisu is blowing me out of the water with Aviendha, who has been twice as efficient and in HC no less.
Things have been going smoothly so far with Infector/Vizier runs, with no deaths since my last update. CtA has been tremendous for safety and I am overall very comfortable with my current gear. I'm focused purely on XP gain, but am hoping for merc upgrades, as he's currently rocking non-eth Reaper's Toll, Gface, and Duriel's Shell for better CI killing power and survivability. I rarely ever resurrect him, which I guess is a good sign, but I wish he could kill faster. I do find that Reaper's Toll is super useful for the life steal and decrep proc vs. insight, improving his survivability and making Diablo much easier to take down when I mix in p7 seal popping runs, and I find plenty of mana potions to replace those I use without meditation.
Notable drops along the way included an Ist rune near Infector, Seraph's Hymn, my first ever Eschuta's (almost antiperfect at +1 skills, +11% lightning, +12% fire) and, on my last run today, a perfect 524 defense regular quality 3os archon plate. Too bad I don't need enigma on this character.

Well, complaining worked for me, too! Now my merc is much faster.
I also got a unique Legendary Mallet today, which was pretty cool. It rolled Stone Crusher unfortunately, but still a grailer for me.
I've been working on efficiency today, getting around 20M/hr in my most recent session. Unfortunately, I died once by efficiently telestomping fanatacism Vizier and efficiently draining my health before I could react. Recovered the body at least. Gotta live and learn before deaths start counting for more...
Finally, a PSA for other Infector/Vizier runners if you didn't know: a branching seal segment at Grand Vizier will cause him to spawn with 11 minions, while an L-shaped seal segment typically generates 4-6 from my counting. I finally re-rolled my CS map to get a branching segment and XP per run improved by ~25% to just under 600K per run at level 94. Rune drops should also improve substantially as ghosts are nearly 3 times better rune droppers than other monsters in the Chaos Sanctuary. On a side note, Infector always seems to have 11 minions regardless of map.

Update for Septimus:
Drops improved over this quarter level, with an Astreon's almost right out the gate, and then another skiller a few runs later, on the same run he picked up a second BKWB:
He gave up some vita and mana to use the skiller and the +2 skills made a noticeable difference in terms of speed taking down Nihl. The damage is high enough now that Nihl occasionally went into hit recovery, so he not only dropped faster but also was slightly less likely to teleport away if hit recovery triggered. Losing Nature's Peace hasn't been an issue and worth the +skill and extra life, I think, with only a few runs aborted due to amp and several CEs going off.
He also had some run drops after nothing Pul+ the first quarter level . . . 4 Puls and a Mal as he approached 3.35B. But then he finally got a real high rune:
And then two runs later picked up another skiller, bringing him to 5 total, and again speeding up Nihl runs and trigger hit recovery frequently! And it also limits the CE further, making loss of Nature's Peace even less noticeable . Compared to 2.5-2.6M/hr average for the first quarter of the level, Septimus was consistently 2.7-2.8M over the last 25M XP to hit 98.5. And then only a few million XP later:
The only other notable drop was this very nice Grand Charm:
With the improved run times from +skills, I estimate ~53 hours to finish Septimus. I was a little ahead of my weekly goal of 20M, so hoping to keep on track to wrap this up in early March. Keep up the great progress everyone!

It's my eighth non-Pindle Templar's, and I think 5 of my 99ers have found one so far. It would have been epic to finish the grail with my last 99er, with Tyrael's from Nihl no less. But hopefully the next golden Sacred Armor will be the right one.

Hello again,
My 4th Amazon is still alive I go slow but steady I am enjoying the journey. How ever as i am still new to this i had a question and wanted some advice.
Question: can you create a mother character and use them as a mule? I collect everything al runes and gems so i start to get full stash. If not I guess I got to be more picky on what I pickup and keep.
Advice 1: I am lvl 52 in NM act 3 and still didnt find a 4socket polearm/scythe for my merc. My own equipment is good I do dmg and have high res but I run out of mana. Should I use my normal larzak quest to get a 4socket item for the meditation aura?
Advice 2: I made some interesting choices earlier going half fire half cold but its seems just cold is much better but now I spend 9 points in the fire skills. Should I respec again? Meaning I only have my hell respec left for the rest of the game. If I ever wanted to go physical zon or lightning javelin I can only do it once.

@NemoG You can use mules. You can even use muling software that's listed and approved in the forum rules like GoMule or ATMA.
Advice 1: Please don't use Larzuk's quest reward unless it's for end-game gear or unless you know you won't need to socket end-game gear. I'm sure that using that feature this early and in an exceptional polearm will only bring regrets in the future.
Advice 2: You can respec as many times as you want as long as you know that with such build you'll be able to finish the game and farm some essences for tokens later if/when/in case you need to respec further down the line. (Unless you're playing Classic, then forget this advice and wait for someone who knows what they're talking about )

Is Septimus from the Jim Butcher series Codex Alera? I am on the last book right now and am excited to see how it wraps up. I'm starting a druid hunter (at some point) based on Bernard, I kind of want to do a two character thing with a character based off Amara. Maybe I can find an MP buddy at some point. Anyway, great progress and sincere thanks for all the work you have done on the forum and the UT99er threads specifically!Update for Septimus:

Drops improved over this quarter level, with an Astreon's almost right out the gate, and then another skiller a few runs later, on the same run he picked up a second BKWB:

He gave up some vita and mana to use the skiller and the +2 skills made a noticeable difference in terms of speed taking down Nihl. The damage is high enough now that Nihl occasionally went into hit recovery, so he not only dropped faster but also was slightly less likely to teleport away if hit recovery triggered. Losing Nature's Peace hasn't been an issue and worth the +skill and extra life, I think, with only a few runs aborted due to amp and several CEs going off.
He also had some run drops after nothing Pul+ the first quarter level . . . 4 Puls and a Mal as he approached 3.35B. But then he finally got a real high rune:

And then two runs later picked up another skiller, bringing him to 5 total, and again speeding up Nihl runs and trigger hit recovery frequently! And it also limits the CE further, making loss of Nature's Peace even less noticeable . Compared to 2.5-2.6M/hr average for the first quarter of the level, Septimus was consistently 2.7-2.8M over the last 25M XP to hit 98.5. And then only a few million XP later:

It's my eighth non-Pindle Templar's, and I think 5 of my 99ers have found one so far. It would have been epic to finish the grail with my last 99er, with Tyrael's from Nihl no less. Thanks for the reply!@NemoG You can use mules. You can even use muling software that's listed and approved in the forum rules like GoMule or ATMA.
Advice 1: Please don't use Larzuk's quest reward unless it's for end-game gear or unless you know you won't need to socket end-game gear. I'm sure that using that feature this early and in an exceptional polearm will only bring regrets in the future.
Advice 2: You can respec as many times as you want as long as you know that with such build you'll be able to finish the game and farm some essences for tokens later if/when/in case you need to respec further down the line. (Unless you're playing Classic, then forget this advice and wait for someone who knows what they're talking about

I play on ps5 so no software, I'll create an empty mule then, that would help.
I don't know what I'll be in the end so I guess I can get essences to reskill later?
I wont use the socket quest then. I do play on Hardcore so somewhere I think if I die becuase I am "cheap" it was a waste not to use it but it makes sense as I got only 3 so I'll save it for now.

Good thing I didnt use the quest, found one in dance of hate lvl2 got lvl 17 meditation now. Huge difference! Killed mephisto and Diablo. I guess it's time to think about my end game setup..

Guys, question.. sorry I feel like a spam bot now. If I start my 5th try can I use what I found on my 4th? I obviously lost my equipment for myself and the merc but now per example I have a lum rune so I can make smoke easier. I got nothing GG but it would help, just wondering as most of you play SC and I still found it myself I would think yes just just wanted to make sure I dont want to cheat.

I also have found a pile of elite armors/weapons both socketed and non, I'm just going to write what I have here because my Print Screen (for screen shots) and arrorw keys stopped working on my keyboard, didn't even realize..... Most of my rolls/ect were found on stream and rolled on stream so is what it is I guess....

@Yori96 I think you may have copied a slightly out-of-date table when you updated your latest gains (congrats on them btw). I copied the table from PhineasB above yours and updated your position with my own below. I also added in @ulof's progress from his update on 1/20, as that seems to have been missing as well. Everyone let me know if I mixed something up or left anything out.

Ledyne has come along way in just a week and a half! I had most of that time off, so I grinded (ground?) out another level to get to 95, then a little more to 2.5B experience!
(The XP bar on the character screen is bugged for some reason - the one above the belt displays correctly)
I did some ~400 Infector/Vizier runs in an abysmal 14.5 hours, averaging a little over 14M/hr, a far cry from the >20M I was running at last week. Turns out she spent far too much time smelling the roses along the way, but there sure were plenty of them to enjoy!

I started collecting some crafting supplies (part of the reason for the drop in efficiency) when I stumbled upon the most unexpected drop. I literally got shivers down my spine. Now if only I knew where to use it!
Ledyne found her third unique phase blade, and this one was the lucky one.
And of course she has to find really nice things for characters I don't play, so I got this sweet grand charm as well.
Finally, she managed to nab another Vex rune that she will hang onto for some future project. It dropped on my birthday no less, which is the same day I got to 95. Happy birthday to me!
She still has yet to find a rune higher than Ohm, but I'm not complaining with the rune drops so far! She did, however, snag a trophy find more rare than any rune she's uncovered...
Anyway, that was long. Nice job everyone on your progress, especially @PhineasB on halfway through 98 in the last legs of your seventh UT99er!

Did you know that a minor healing potion is a rarer find from Hell CS than any rune through Ohm? Furthermore, some monsters don't have it in their item table at all, making it exceedingly difficult to come across. What's more, a minor mana potion is actually the single rarest non-magic item drop from many normal monsters in the CS, rarer than a Zod rune. Useless, but cool.
