Finds today include a Lo rune and I now have a 4 socket eth Giant Poleaxe for Infinity. I lack Mal and Ist after making CTA so will head back to LK for the 100k ORT runes I need to cube up.(kidding)

I am wondering if i should swap the merc's Treachery for Fortitude and also swap out my Spirit shield for Stormshield which just dropped due to the DR. Any thoughts welcome. I know this will drop me back to 63FCR breakpoint...

Quick progess report on BriarRose;

Just hit level 94 with doing CS and AT runs.

Tracking high rune drops outside of LK from lev 93 on and have a Lo and Sur already.

About to go farm LK for my Mal and Ist to make Infinity. From that point I'll start adding MF charms and think about socketing items...

No deaths since I built my CTA.

Halfway to level 98

First part of leveling was done in the pits until this dropped

Since it rolled really nicely i decided it was time to use last respec and go for blizz once more. I ended up putting extra points for fire bolt 10, fire ball 10 and 1 for mastery, but didn't get as much backup dmg as i hoped for. Also removed eld from stormshield and put ist in it trying to keep mf as high as i can, but that was kinda stupid idea and i ended up replacing it with shael after a while. Faster block rate seems really nice.

Before rolling at maps i tried to farm cow kings set from nm cows. I managed to find the armor, but after few days i gave up. I've always hated cow farming so nighmare cows at this point is something abysmal.

After some map rolling i did tunnels or cs depending which one feels more fun.

As for grail, im at 27 items left to find.

Game didn't crash this time...

Was nightwings, 12% cold dmg

I died at the start of level 94 in CS to DeSeis. And lo, there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth. And thus did BriarRose find herself mostly doing AT runs and Pindle to 95. Where at least she can smack a blizzard down and then quietly sup a chai latte or perhaps consult her I Ching while zombies drop.

Thoughts so far: Taking a build untwinked to 95 has been interesting. You get excited over basic drops/runes and then when that perfect eth base drops it’s, OMG!

The penalty hit for dying is such now that it forces me to be much more conservative with play-style. I also lack final build items and have yet to build Infinity(not that it will do much unless I respec)

From here I expect lev 96 to be hit in a couple of months.

It’s probably weird, but I’m visualizing a Zod dropping in AT. It keeps my interest up.

Not that theres a huge amount I’d do with it other than make Breath Of the Dying (although I do have a Eth 298ED Ribcracker over in my separate normal play builds in gomule.

One thing I do wish is that I had built CTA as soon as possible. Would have saved me from dying and time lost on a few occasions.

I see a lot of 99 builds use COH on the merc-why this over Fortitude?

@Ancient Of Mu Mu nice progress! The only reason to use coh on merc over fort is if you dont have leech elsewhere. In particular I wanted insight for convenience and delirium helm for safety on my sorc's merc, so wanted leech on the body armor.

So UT_Sorc is still running LK. Haven't been playing much due to vacation and summer stuff.

She found a Sur rune sometime within the first 50 runs before I had even tried hunting for a good map. Since then, I've done a bit over 500 runs and added a Vex and a Mal to the haul. As usual, I tend to remember that I should take a screen shot after I've already moved on in LK.

Still waiting to see confirmation that LK drops Ber runes as neither UT_Guy nor UT_Sorc has seen one yet and I'm pushing 5k runs between the two of them...

We love the RNG.

Hi everyone!

I have been postponing this update for the longes time. It has been more or less half a year since my last one, when I started MFing for gear after Enigma, CtA and HoTo in Januar. I don't really recall much of the progression, but thanks to screenshots I can pretty much guess what happened.

It seems I did a bit of everything from Mephy, Andy and Pits to going back and forth to and from LK trying to get the runes for Infinity. Faust is now a bit over lvl92, but this update is not about his lvl, it's about a drop I had yesterday. I'm still missing Shako, Andy's and Mara's, three items that I have been hunting since that last update. I'm now pretty close to lvl 93 to start gambling amulets for crafting so I don't think I'll ever use Mara's at the end, but Shako and Andy's I still want. At some point I was able to roll two spirit shields as well, I remember feeling it took forever to finally get them.

I have been postponing this update for the longes time. It has been more or less half a year since my last one, when I started MFing for gear after Enigma, CtA and HoTo in Januar. I don't really recall much of the progression, but thanks to screenshots I can pretty much guess what happened.

It seems I did a bit of everything from Mephy, Andy and Pits to going back and forth to and from LK trying to get the runes for Infinity. Faust is now a bit over lvl92, but this update is not about his lvl, it's about a drop I had yesterday. I'm still missing Shako, Andy's and Mara's, three items that I have been hunting since that last update. I'm now pretty close to lvl 93 to start gambling amulets for crafting so I don't think I'll ever use Mara's at the end, but Shako and Andy's I still want. At some point I was able to roll two spirit shields as well, I remember feeling it took forever to finally get them.

I agree with crafting the ammu-I dont regret mine (after PhineasB suggested it ) and I wouldnt swap it for Mara's even if one drops now. Nice find with Deaths Web!

Shocked that you didn't immediately S&E (after confirming it was in the stash!). That's what I did. Such a great find, and hoping you can roll a 20 FCR amulet to ease into the 125 FCR breakpoint with that bad boy equipped! Congrats!
