Haha, absolute lowest Spirit FCR roll?

Is any breakpoint past 105% FCR possible to reach for a sorceress? (200% FCR, anyone?)

Well, I'm kind of running low on Hel runes for rerolling, and he doesn't need anything more. :grin:

For Sorc's it's something like:
105%; ~117 for Lightning and CL, then 200%FCR

There are guides and a Mat/Pat for a 200% FCR charged boltress.

Oh dear, you mean I should get 117% FCR for Lightning and CL?! I've been running at about 110% all along ><

That statement is a little off. CB is affected by physical resistance and is therefore some kind of physical damage. You can't leech from it though correct.
Nope, it's affected by a positive physical resistance, but really can't qualify as dmg.

I do recall something about other synergies not acting the same way, but can't remember what for. These are minorities, so it really doesn't matter. [That's if I remember correctly, anyway.]

Question: It is possible on occasion to telekenesis through the portal in Meph's lair. It saves a few seconds in Meph runs, but I can't replicate it too often. Does anyone know what is required to telekenesis through it (I think it's a special technique or something?)
Telekenesis has a maximum range.

My guess would be the bone spirit charges. Its a pretty high affix level for a circlet.
That's correct. Note that if a necromancer views that circlet in-game the req_lvl will be lower.

My question: Does 'Slows Target by xx%' work on the Ancients? Arreat doesn't list all these little important things about monsters.
Yes. item slow% is capped at 50% against them, or any boss/(super)unique/champion for that matter.

Hmm, while I'm asking that, how long does the slow target effect last as well?
30 seconds seems accurate enough.

True, but not exactly what I'm referring to. You can stand right next to the red portal to Act 4, and not be able to telekenesis through it. However, I've been able to teleport to the position that triggers the 'bridge' to rise, and if I quickly switch to telekenesis, sometimes I can get through using tk on the portal. The only times I've been able to do that is when it has been very fast, so I was wondering if anyone else had experienced it while Meph running.

Thanks for the 194% L/CL breakpoint. Didn't know about that one, and I don't think it was on the sorc sub-forum I linked to.

OK thanks for that, I just looked at "Sorceress FCR breakpoints" and there was no reason to assume Lightning of CL could have different breakpoints >< Learn something new every day! I will try it out 117% immediately.

EDIT: Not really sure wether I've been past 117% or not, I actually might just have been. I used to wear Trang's gloves, and I remember thinking I need to add a 10%FCR ring in order to remain above 105% once I mule Trang's to another charachter; but now I remember finding a nice 10%FCR rare ring that I wore regardless of FCR BEFORE muling off Trang's, and if this is true then I WERE past 117% since I found that ring, I just never noticed any difference between that and 105%<x<117% because teleporting speed remained the same, and because lightning hoses are so long it's really hard to tell how fast you're casting =P

I hear its best to run pindle for everything but Tyraels, Arachnids and Azurewrath is this true? Atma odds seem to confirm this, taking run times into account. Just thought id double check.

Yep, Pindle for anything but those three, Ancient Tunnels for those three (but you need quite some patience for those heheh). Blizzardess owns both places.

I was just wondering, does knockback on a weapon occur during a barbarians whirlwind? If so, would it be possible to be untouchable using a polearm with whirlwind?

knockback works with ww.. but the problem is, you may kb an enemy away from your ww path. conversely, you can also kb him into your ww path.. i don't think it'll make your barb untouchable though..

so, it's all preference.. tried out the bk set for ww-ing, an the kb's not bad.. =)

If I have 2 mats and a pat all vanilla and a character I am working on and decide to install RRM/RWM are those characters going to be affected in any way other than the desired effect?

While playing on B.Net tonight with a friend, I came across a weird rare Tiara.

Stats (sorry no screenie):
+ Mana (based on clvl)
+ 20 FCR
+ 20 FRW
+ Cold Damage

I thought Mana (based on clvl) could only spawn on blues?

You mean will it mess anything up in the save files? Nope. I did it with charachters in the making and matriarchs, no problems whatsoever. RRM certainly doesn't change anthing in the save or stash files. AFAIK, (don't quote me on this one though) neither does RWM, so you can safely switch between RWM and non-RWM, and the ladder runewords will just turn up as runewords or gemmed items respectively.

You will not be able to classify yourself as vanilla in trade ir MP anymore though, if that's what you had in mind.

Question: What's with the Cracked Sashes?

Do elemental damage charms apply to spells or just melee? Eg if I have a lightning charm, will it apply the damage to my Frozen Orb?
