Yea, you're kinda cheating there.. padding your numbers and such..Interesting question, which I hadn't looked at. Exactly 6 of my characters finished Mat/Pat at lvl 79, so 80 of the 86 are 80+. Only 43 are 85+ so not at 85/85. The average is pushed up by the 7 99ers
I am hoping to get to the 80/80 club one day. After that, we are looking for +1/+1 increments.. Hitting 85/85 should be doable, but 90/90 is probably more of a challenge than actually hitting the 10k levels..
120 characters at lvl 83-84 gives you the 10,000. So, imagine you have 90 characters at levels near that range. Granted some may already be at (or 9 levels above) 90. But, a large chunk of them would need to be leveled up to hit the 90/90 club. Would you rather go back and level up 60-70 characters from the low-mid 80s up to level 90? or would it be easier to crank out another 30 level 80 characters?

I think I might prefer leveling a bunch to 90 over moving another 30 through Normal and NM again, honestly. And there’s always the option to respec to strongest Pindle runner for each class to push to 90, which can be done pretty quickly if twinked. But that would still be short of 10,000 levels.

I tend to do full clears with twinked characters, which shows in that the lowest of any of them reaching Mat/Pat status is 83 the average for the 18 Pat/mats I have is 87. I also think that Running Hell at p4 or p5 has also contributed to that average as most of my latest character finish Hell at 87 or 88. I've also got two old Druids that are stuck in Hell both at 82.

I hit a nice round number of 90 characters after finishing my Two Handed Melee Sept, so I thought an update here was in order. Finishing my last HC character in the HC Tourney Sept, plus the next Sept I have planned (lesser skills Sept, with dual nova Sorc already finished) would bring me to 97 characters, and an estimated 8300 levels. I still have a project or two in mind after that, so we'll see how far we can get!

Repeating here, great progress. The list of characters is very cool to scroll through. The “Pure” builds in v1.12, in particular, look really interesting. Assume they were all single tree? I don’t recall seeing them in Mat/Pat compendium, and would be fascinated to hear more about the quirkier ones, like Pure Barb Masteries and Pure Curse Necro.
My definition of "pure" is not as strict as what others use. To me, it meant hard points when into that specific tree and I could use skills from items. I don't think I have the write-ups for many of my older characters, they were put onto the now-defunct GO site.
