I have started (yet another) project, in which I try to stay out of my zones of comfort (no NM Meph to gear up for Hell, no LK…). I have started running The Mausoleum with a Blizzard/Meteor sorc with crappy starter gear:
I find it amusing that I have 2 Vex before Pul or even Ko for Heart of the Oak. Also, a nice base:

The game has continued to be kind to me in recent days. I found a Vex in the Stoney Tomb while grinding up some exp with my Fireball Sorc, which lead to me creating my first 'Heart of the Oak' Flail. The 'HotO' belongs to my FoHdin and I'm very happy with it. Rolled +39 all res., which I guess is 1 off perfect? Oh well, 39 works for me! The next day I found a Gul in the Stoney Tomb.
I've also found a couple new-to-me set and unique items. Nothing useful that I've been hoping to find, but in any case they were interesting finds. Still hoping to eventually complete Nat's, Aldur's, Trang-Oul's, and Tal's sets. One item short of each.

And tonight we've found a Druid Summoning skiller and The Gladiator's Bane unique Wire Fleece! I've definitely never seen that armor drop before. Pretty nifty. The lvl 85 requirement is a bit of a bummer though. I'd like to use it somehow, but I am struggling to think of a way to shoehorn it into any of my current builds. It might end up being worn by a mercenary.

Does any of you remember when runes were white, and we used RRM to make them red?

0 HR while running LK since saturday. The highest rune being a Pul, it's maddening. The best drops were some skillers and a white monarch I Larzuk for my first Spirit in D2R only project.

I'm about 8 or 9 Stoney Tomb runs away from hitting level 92 with my Fireball Sorc. Overall, these have been very productive runs, though the last several runs haven't yielded much. Last nice drop was another Herald of Zakarum. I have Pat'd two Pallies, and now each has a HoZ, so that's nice.

I've been farming the whole day and this is the only useful drop I have to show. Not in my best streak!
I had a very productive set of Stoney Tomb runs last night / this morning to get over the level 92 hump. It started last night on the 3rd run. Unique Jewel, which turned out to be a 5/5 Poison Facet. Neat! My Poison Necro will certainly use it someday.
This morning, on consecutive runs, we found a Windhammer unique Ogre Maul (which might turn into an Iron Golem for one of my Necros someday) and a Vampire Gaze. I was a little disappointed it wasn't a green Grim Helm, as that would have completed Nat's set for me, but I haven't found a Vamp Gaze yet either, so it's a nice find too. It went straight to my merc as an upgrade over Tal's helm which he's been wearing forever.
I wonder how many passes through the Stoney Tomb it will take to hit level 93..?

I haven't been playing as much the last couple of weeks and splitting my time running LK and a mix of Baal, Pindle, Trav and the Pit. LK has been going slow with not many HR finds. When I found two Sur less than 90 runs (519 and 605) apart I had a feeling that it would be awhile before another high rune dropped and I was right. Just found another Sur on run 1310 and while the first two were from super chests this one wasn't, but I'll take it.
What makes this one even better was that I was starting to doze off and wandered away from the super chest huts!
In total now I have 6 Sur runes so its time to start thinking about actually thinking about making Enigma.
