that's crazy that you've never found a Gloom's trap until now. I typically just leave them on the ground.

On my very first pit run today with my Faith 'Zon a Lo dropped and i'm like "whoa, awesome ..." then an Um dropped on the second level. Nice!

I'm getting ready to make a Aura/Dragondin for the next patch ... going to get real lazy running areas and just checking for drops when the pulse happens haha. sometimes you just want to have a relaxing MF session.

I'd love to make a dual 'Dragon' Pally... I don't have it in me to run LK for the runes though. Throw in 'Hand of Justice' if I was really rich in high runes. Add maxed out FoH/Holy Bolt and Conviction to that setup, and that character could do anything.

yah, i'm just kinda kicking myself for leaving certain items on the ground now.

I never thought about what to do with caddy's with good modifiers ... I would either not bother checking them or if I did I would only maybe consider keeping them if they had a certain amount of sockets.

I checked my stash a few days ago and i've basically only got one Caduceus with a +3 to Salvation that has the right socks for HoJ. I'm sure i've left many decent potential bases on the ground. Oh well, it is what it is.

I will admit, it's a nice skill to have to be able to do mindless Pit or LK runs. I'll take my laptop to work when I have some nightshifts and when it's all quiet i'll do some mindless LK/Pit/Pindle/Keyfarming runs.

Play some youtube videos or a podcast and mindlessly, automatically, run after run after run ... lol.

Dem LK runs doe, can do multiple things at once. Run it with a Hammerdin on p8/7 with Enigma (if you have it). Bosspacks just kill along the way, gain good xp and drops, check for runes, collecting gold as you run around and gather all gems for cubing and then rerolling for skillers. Along the way pop logs etc ... you'd be surprised how many decent uniques or runes pop from them. I've gotten a Sur/Ber from a poppable plus unique Gilded shields x3 among other things like Shakos etc. I think i've levelled from late 80's to ~ 95 from doing mostly LK runs plus some MF runs.

So I got 2 Chams now, decisions, decisions. I also got some mid-runes like Gul, Ist, Um, Pul, a summoner skiller with some life, and a lot of bases, specially socketed phase blades.

What do you think of this jewel, is it useful? If so, what would you do with it? I always struggle with rare jewels.

Yup. For a second, I was thinking "uh, what's that one?...." By now, I recognize most set/uniques, but not that one, and I had to look up the roll ranges. It was actually kind of exciting finding something that I didn't recognize. :)

I've been thinking of that too. I'm more-or-less equally far away from either Enigma or HoJ/Dragon/Dragon, and future drops will determine which is available first. But, I'm pretty sure that Enigma will make running for more runes faster or more fun and then I can farm up for those other runewords next.

I wish the base chance to block could have been higher, and the fact that its exceptional is no day at the beach either 🤣 But its currently my leading candidate for a Dream shield. I might even Ancients Pledge it since Im currently short the Jah rune lololol

I've love to have one of those. But it's impossible, as I don't pick up and identify magic rings anymore.

I've been farming the Moo Moo Farm. I have found a Stormspire, a Mara's Kaleidoscope and a couple of HotO rolls Vex runes:

My best blue mf ring in LoD is 38%, and when I restarted in D2R, I picked up every blue ring for a while, looking for exactly that, but then I gave up. Welp, back that grind for me I guess. :cry: jk

@TheNix Congrat!

As a result of the New patch is coming thread I started looking at my OLD buids out of curiousity. The following comes from a 2004 Concentrate build guide's discussion of Breath of the Dying "Of course, it requires Zod...I believe someone did the math once, and you have a better chance of getting hit by a falling plane that was struck by lightning than you do of finding a Zod."
 
The new Obsession runeword in D2R is also a solid choice for a Zod, arguably the most useful. I’m going to make one once I find a base with decent staffmods. Especially for HC chars it’s great as it provides a ton of life and no longer having to stat strength for Spirit Monarch.
 
I took a short break from LK to do some Pindle runs with my then-Enigma-less berserker:
