Definitely not kosher. Don’t do this.

Best advice ever given to me after completing the game in 1.07, from @frozzzen: Now rush 7 sorcs.
 
Yeah, that would be my advice, too. Rush 7 sorcs, let them leech experience in the cow level and you have 7 new characters to rack a variety of items. That's what I did, too. I still have a couple of 1.07 sorcs that have no assigned rack yet. I should probably find them one.
 
I know from experience that good maps are discovered as much as anything. My map that dropped my arkaines, gave me my first Gris set back in 2003. The countess tower dropped some of the pieces. You have to work out what you are after, where are all the possible places it can drop and check them if the map has something.

I'm sure these days people only want the vita type gear etc. Back before 1.10 final came out, getting those Gris items was a big deal for me :)

Anybody ever rack circlets in 1.07? I'd come across the occasional circlet rack drop, but figured out how to make this one 100% steady. Then, I realized there are no white/grey circlets in 1.07. So, each run will get magic/rare or Naj's. We'll see what kind of results this brings.
 
ya the socketing rules should only be broken within 1.07 itself. For the same reason diadems won't get 3os, IIRC. I could be wrong about that one
 
Has anyone had any good experience converting classic characters to 1.07? I've got quite a lot of archived characters from 1.00 and 1.05, some of which I doubt I'll ever play again. And I think I'm ready to give 1.07 another try (my first try was years ago and all of my items/characters were lost).
 
Can anybody confirm this is correct for 6x pgs cube recipe?

This is from @WoRG Crafting miniguide. But, I assume the ilvl would be the same for the cube recipe.
1) Because of the max crafting ilvl of 65, and the qlvl of Amulets(1), you CANNOT craft +2 skills ammys, though you CAN craft +3 skilltab ammys at Clvl 91 or above.

I just hit lvl 91, and for some reason I always thought it was lvl 93 for +3 skill tab. Probably just my bad memory.

How do you people level up a character in the earlier levels if rushing isn't an option. My one leveled character is stuck in her Balrog Skin map so I need to make a new one for rushing other characters from scratch and it's been very slow. I'm 29 and hoping getting frozen orb and cold mastery next level helps speed things along.

Also what are the other rack targets I should look out for. My list was

Bone Knife (luckily a weapon rack in my balrog skin map also roles bone knifes ~30% of the time)
Shako
Winged Helm
Grim Helm
Thresher (for eth 4 socket weapons)
Bramble Mitts
Sharkskin Belt (Can't see wanting more than one of these)
