Definitely impressive progress and even more impressive rune drops ...

We are giving you another week of gentle hints before we get the hammers out.
@PhineasB Great work, grats on that Arach's! It's almost funny how it seems to evade you characters for so long.
Regarding FHR, have you considered using Bloodfist? Actually also with Nihl runs on my mind already, I've been using them ever since I switched back to a Hoto setup given that capping resists and hitting 117% FCR is no issue with it. I think they're an excellent option in such case, in fact I can't really see a contender for these purposes/runs. The 30% FHR is very convenient (hitting 86% with Spirit and only one FHR SC) and the 40 extra life is a big deal with BO. It also frees the boots slot for Waterwalks, i.e. even more life and capping at 80% FR which is great for Nihl as well (currently I already like it for Baal wave 3, which is never dangerous but always annoying
). Also more life from SCs in such case. Overall it gave my life pool a significant boost to over 2700 by now (and using Griffon's, so no Shako). No MF though of course if you care about that. Don't know your setup exactly, in particular your FCR, but since you're using non-FCR gloves I'd strongly consider these.
Haven't had too much time to run this weekend personally. HelpYourself is about to hit the 3 billion mark and has had a few nice drops already in the first 10% of lvl 98. But I'll wait for some more progress to report on.

Thanks for the feedback @ffs. I thought about Bloodfists. But she's 6 strength short of 156 for spirit (due to some sort of miscalculation before last respec 
) and fire resist is not close to maxed with gloves/boots/charms.
So I went with boots to get there for strength and FHR and gloves/2 charms for fire resist, rather than messing around with more significant charm reshuffle. But I will definitely take a look at her +strength and +fire resist charm options. I think War Travelers could be used for boots for strength (plus nice MF bonus) and charms for fire.

Like I was saying before, I've had little interest in grinding XP since the MFO but I did manage one level since my last update, mostly through P8 AT and Vizier/Infector runs (both were still fairly close XP wise 93-94, with CS being slightly ahead but annoying with abundant Infector CI rolls). I've also finished another ~1000 LK/RoF.

One Ohm or Lo away from having all the runes for Infinity but I still don't have the base and I don't want to go Lightning/CL until I have a few GCs. Also around 8000 total LK runs between 2 characters without a Ber drop..

Stats with Smoke for safety (my Vipermagi is a low roll, unfortunately) and 105 FCR/86 FHR. Merc is using Reaper's/Treachery/Kira's to deal with CIs.

Working at a different city this week, so my character's gonna chill with Halbu and Jamella till next weekend. Seeing your progresses really helps, though; can't wait to get back at it. Ah, Diablo. I tried to stay away, I did...

Xul's Gull Araphel HC Necro 30ish No ? N/ASalome has cruised through to level 95 on p8 AT runs. The XP part of the run didn't seem to take long at all.
We started out with 185% MF. After we hit the halfway point we upped to 504% MF. This seriously nerfed Salome's damage, skills, resists, fcr and just about everything else, including her run times. However, I was having fun so it wasn't an issue. We got the same number of notable drops before and after the MF change.
Those were: Nord's Tenderiser, Wraith Flight, 5/3 Cold Facet, Reapers, BK Sacred Charge, Messch. Reaver, Atma's Scarab, 4/5 Lightning Facet, Ormus' Robes (Lightning), Stonecrusher (not the IK one), Naj's Puzzler and an eth GPA which only managed 3 sockets in the cube.

224 million XP to get to 96. A quick test gave 430,000 XP for a p8 AT run, so only another 520 runs. Will check out the other areas to see what their XP returns are like as well, but AT with 500%MF is pretty cruisy.

I played Freddie for some more time. Went all the way to level 23 and the lost city waypoint. No drops to mention or anything spectacular so far. I do fear diablo but i hope to hit 30 by then and decryp him to death

I just took a look at the table for the first time since long. Impressive amount of people in it. This journey is so full of win.
My 5 stages of grief tournament character just reached Hell. I'll probably try to finish her journey first, but after that I'll be back for some 99er action in between playing Grim Dawn.

I know several runners that finished said that lvl 97 felt actually the most tedious and I'm beginning to feel it. It does get less interesting for sure, but so far HelpYourself is still making safe and steady progress, now at about 20% of lvl 98. Hopefully there'll be a few rainy and dull weekend days in December to push a little more. My goal is to hit 98 before the end of the year, should definitely be possible to do some remaining 30 hours of running. Once at 98, it's too late to turn back anyway but tbh actually I'm already looking forward to Nihl, I believe she will be very effective running him and hopefully get some more interesting drops as well.
In order to not get too bored I've been playing Ric the Summoner a bit in between during short breaks from HelpYourself. He has now finished NM at lvl 61. Updated table accordingly. After gaining a few more levels in NM, his next goal will be to get his hands on a Harmony bow and run Hell LK. There he will spend a lot of time to get Enigma as well as stuff like Hoto and CtA. Given he'll probably find tons of runes before being able to make Enigma, he'll likely make some other runewords for testing purposes, apart from loading up on charms. For example I've never used a low-req Oath for HotW charges on a Skelliemancer, and will definitely try that at some point. Since Enigma will be quite the grind, I don't think I'll immediately follow it up with more LK runs for Infinity or Beast even, so I believe for a while Andariel will then be his target of choice. Seems to me she's better suited than Mephisto in particular for this build in order to get some essential uniques, but never actually did such runs. At some point he'll mix in/switch to LK again and Pits on high player settings, to hopefully finish Infinity and the essential gearing phase.
So much for the planning. It will be a fun and obviously also long-term side project, so hopefully having this to do in between will make for an interesting enough diversion and keeping me entertained enough with D2 to actually pull through with HelpYourself.

For example I've never used a low-req Oath for HotW charges on a Skelliemancer, and will definitely try that at some point. Since Enigma will be quite the grind, I don't think I'll immediately follow it up with more LK runs for Infinity or Beast even, so I believe for a while Andariel will then be his target of choice. Seems to me she's better suited than Mephisto in particular for this build in order to get some essential uniques, but never actually did such runs. At some point he'll mix in/switch to LK again and Pits on high player settings, to hopefully finish Infinity and the essential gearing phase.
So much for the planning. It will be a fun and obviously also long-term side project, so hopefully having this to do in between will make for an interesting enough diversion and keeping me entertained enough with D2 to actually pull through with HelpYourself.

@Kitteh Regarding time spent that's certainly true -- but notwithstanding the duration I can actually see 98-99 being less tiresome than 97-98 because it's done at Nihl, instead of Baal or other areas where you have to do things much more actively. Nihl is more akin to Pindle I guess, i.e. just standard procedure and routine. It seems many players don't like running stuff like Pindle or LK for being so monotonous, but I like this type of runs since to me it's always been a good way to sort of let the stress of the day go away. I have a pretty hectic job that challenges my brain more than enough, so doing some mindless running in the evening is nice to make up for that.

You could be right to a certain extent. Having said that, Nihl always requires your attention, mainly because of Vipers and Witches, and to a lesser extent Nihl's CE. And believe me, the xp doesn't seem to move at all from 98 - 99, so I can see one death at that stage being enough to quit the whole thing for a long time.
No significant updates for XP bar but I'm just finally leaving LK.

My highest SP rune drop! With LK in the rear-view I'm going to be here a while running the 2 seals so hoping for more luck like this. This was also something I needed for my Barb project so pretty stoked. I may have played for 45 minutes tonight and got Ohm + Cham out of it.
So little man took a nap this morning and I decided to do a few runs before work..
I'm at some 8000 LK runs without a Ber drop and that's 2x Cham in <50 runs..
This is me basically being salty that the champ pack of Oblivion Knights (CI) were trolling my merc while he tried to kill Infector (CI) so I let him kill one of them after LOL

I so very much agree with this. Not that 98-99 will be all chill, I imagine it will require an insane amount of stamina and patience, but getting back to running a single target, that sounds so very much more relaxing, than the tedious Baal runs, with five different spawns.
