I already asked this in another thread, but got no answer so here goes:
Some reference information first:
I've only played LoD, never classic D2, and I started from 1.09.
In act 2 Lysander, as second speech on Radamant, tells that one should try his exploding potions as they work well against undead. Has Lysander been selling exploding potions in some earlier version of the game? Or did D2 development team decide that ability to buy exploding potions would be too easy (IMHO all attacking potions suck) and failed to notify the speech department?
I drop a second question here as it came up when I resd through this thread. Based on my background information I've never played 1.07. What's so superb on 1.07 that people still play it?
And I remembered third question that I've meant to ask. How much memory LOD 1.11b needs on PC? I have this problem where playing necro with plenty of minions or actually any character if there are lots of items on the ground, the small telling noices and even some speeches stop working. "I cannot pick anymore", NPC's greetings when you click them, noise that comes when you activate a town portal, noice of trapped chest etc. All those come back when I activate any speech of any NPC, but soon if the amout of minions for example stays the same the same problem occurs. It can be so that the second NPC you click greets you but the third won't.
