One near death encounter later and the desert city was within reach. Will be running the tower for some runes and that last level before I become an enchantress. If I feel up to it Ill run bone ash for some nice attack speed gloves and some angelic jewlery ;).

Well Fell out of one tourney in time to start another so Fury will be running along killing everything she can get her big ole polearm on.

ChopChopBaby killed Andariel and is now patiently waiting in Lut Gholein for her chopping to continue. Andy took about 6 trips to town on p8 and yielded nothing but crap.

Just thought that I'd put my girl in the table now that I got her started. I have a problem of charging into battles without planning my way out and getting surrounded by monsters which results with me having now revs left. Now that I have teleport that shouldn't be a problem anymore. I have done ~5 countess runs and she was gracious enought to give me 3 tals (2 in one run), as well as a bunch of lower ones. Now with stealth and steel I have everything I need. I will get leaf later. Well hopefully my next update with be something alittle more intersting than this one.

After another NDE, I've decided to go One-Handed with a shield for a while, shield socketed with 3 chipped diamonds. I have an OS staff on switch with +2 to Enchant (which presently amounts to an extra 4-6 fire damage points!).

Enchant certainly is slow to build in damage! But one more level and I get to try Energy Shield and Chilling Armor. Wooohooo!

It is slow to build up at the start, but once Enchant is maxed and you start pumping FM and Warmth the damage increase with each skill point is amazing. Skill shrines also give a huge boost to damage.

Inara defeated Baal (on /Players1, I played it safe) and will now do some Bloody Foothill runs till she's around level 50. She started to feel a little unsafe using a 2-handed axe with low resists and no blocking so I used Qual-Khek's runes to make an Ancients Pledge Tower Shield giving me max resists in normal. My plan to socket my +3 enchant staff to make Leaf hit a snag when I realised I needed an Amn as well as a Ral, but I'm sure I'll find one at NM Countess without too much trouble. Interesting finds since my last update were a Shael rune:grin: , 3 more Cleglaw's gloves and a few other junk unique/sets. Current weapon is a Brutal Blade of Slaughter, 5-39 damage, which according to the LCS gives me an attack of 678-882 damage.

Signed up. Circe got to level 18 and the Inner Cloister with minimum fuss. I'm somewhat clueless about what to do, so I got a 'Steel' axe like 'most everybody else :tongue:

I know Leaf is TirRal, but the staff doesn't have sockets and the socketing recipe requires a Ral and an Amn.... although by the looks of it I would only have a 1/6 chance of getting 2 sockets (Is this right? it is a Battle Staff so max 3 sockets means 1/6 for 1 socket, 1/6 2 sockets 4/6 3 sockets, or am I completely wrong?)

And yes, it did take a lot of shopping and I'm considering doing some more in the vain hope of getting a +3 Enchant +3 Warmth +3 Energy Sheild 2os staff, that would be nice:rolleyes: or at least a +2/3 enchant with 2os.

Just did an Ancient's Way/WSK run and found Sander's Boots and Gloves which I'll try out in combo with the Wand I found earlier.

Ahh, I see didn't realize it wasn't socketed yet. Yeah with the Amn Ral recipe you've only got a 1/6 chance of hitting the 2 sockets you need. I think battle staves go up to 4 sockets, so it'll be 1/2 four sockets, and 1/6 for 1-3 sockets. And you'll also be shopping for a very long time to find that particular staff. I remember back when I had my ranged enchantress, I'd spend about a half hour at the end of each playing session shoping staves. Best I ever got was a +3 enchant, +1 frozen armor with two open sockets. Remember you really don't need the warmth since only hard skills are synergized, but I think fire mastery may help at the time of casting. Who knows, I've already forgotten my enchant mechanics.

So I decided to enter this tournament with the first character I am building since getting back into the game.

Chanty
Level 22
currently busy running Maggot Lair for experience and items.

I've been fairly lucky with my finds so far. Rixot's Keen dropped early on (25% crushing blow was a great boon) Then Andariel was kind and dropped cleglaws shield and gloves. Which made up my mind to be a throwing enchantress.

So far haven't had any real NDE's but we will see, my D2 skills are still a little rusty.

This will be my last update from the rest of this weekend, I will be spending my weekend at UofM college. Had a couple close close in Act VI, mainly from being surrounded. My main problem in just big groups sense as we all know enchant really isn't a mob killer. Big D, on the other hand, went down really easy, even on players 5. Really only one good find and that was a Nagelring (20%) from a pot somewhere in Act II. Next week I should have some more updates.

P.S. Sanders Superstition is one hurty little stick.

Duriel scared me a lot and nearly killed Eirin. I decided to go 1h and shield then . Of course, I couldn't get the shield I wanted and neither did I find the staff I wanted. So after about an hour of shopping, I settled for a +2 Enchant staff and made Leaf. The Ral was kindly provided by a Ghost in the AS.

In A3 I bought a Tower Shield of Deflecting and used that for a while. The Act went by easy and Mephy posed no big threat.

A4 was a bit more dangerous because of the many elemental attacks I encountered. I finally found a 2os Tower Shield to get some resists. I didn't use my one PDia though as I am still hoping to buy a Mechanic' Tower Shield of Deflection. I've never done so much shopping as I did for this tourney!
I was sure that Diable would be the end. He has killed so many of my chars in normal. He took the merc out right away and I didn't think this fragile char could stand more than one attack, so I teled out immediately to ressurect the merc and come back for another hit. This was reapeated about 20-25 times before Big D went down. Scary stuff!

Now, Eirin is running Eldrich for a few levels before proceeding. Her equipment is really, really, really terrible and needs to be improved. Luck has not been on my side so far.
 
Yesterday during downtime of the forums I killed my sorc by pressing teleport right into a boss pack instead of enchant.
