Coldcrow was an early difficult encounter for Ansa, but thawing potions won the day in the end.

The ritual sacrifice of the Rogue mercenary is attempted in the Crypt, but unfortunately, Aliza managed to escape Wrath Growler...

...only for Bonebreaker to finish the job. Good riddance.
This sacrifice was rewarded with a total of three gem shrines in the Dark Wood and Black Marsh! The resultant flawless to be saved for Act 2, when Ansa will upgrade her MF ring mail with better gems. The Countess then dropped Tal Eld Eth, which is a nice setup for "Stealth", and without Burst of Speed the FRW was sorely tempting. But with an empty head slot, the chest MF is too important, so the runeword was declined.

Andariel gives us our first useful unique! An 18% Nagelring. It'll do.

Followed by another useful unique! Bloodfist is a likely candidate for end game gear for Ansa, unless I desperately need the crushing blow from crafted Blood gloves.

Level 23 was the opportunity to finally fill out the empty head and belt slots. 4 potion slots was certainly trying.
Upon getting the cube, I used some chipped gems to roll sockets into my pair of Blade Talons. I then immediately sunk 4 Tir runes into those sockets, thinking they would allow me to indulge in heavy use of Lightning Sentry without worry. Only to find... traps don't trigger mana per kill! Doh. I've never played a trapper before. So it goes.

The first of two(!) sets of Chance Guards that dropped, one with 36% MF! And both which must be resigned to the dumpster for Elzix to scavenge. Closely followed by...

The first of two sets of Cleglaw's Pincers that dropped! These regularly drop in the Tombs for me when full clearing. They are also one of my favorite S/U items in the game. Too bad they just don't fit on Ansa's apparently irregularly shaped hands.
Duriel went down easily to mostly Dragon Claw on /p3, and dropped garbage. The forests of Kurast went by fairly quickly with plenty of lightning bolts for the multitudinous fetishes, and Ansa just cleared Lower Kurast before calling it quits, soon to proceed into the temples proper. She currently has 188% MF. Hoping for something useful!
