I think this would be terribly funny to see. It would give you some damage to Punching characters. They could attack quickly, it would be interesting to see the builds that would come from this.

Well I tested it meanwhile, it works. Fury druids might be good too with these gloves.

This armor is designed to encourage 2hd Paladin melee play and discourage other classes as well as casting Paladins {damn Hammerdins - lol} from using. The tithing of gold happens if you have armor in inventory/stash or wearing. If you drop the armor to avoid paying the tithe, it disappears forever. This could be toned down a little and opened up for all 2hd melee classes. While the Barbarian and Amazon have skills to augment 2hd play, much of the useful skills the Paladin has are geared toward 1hd play.

Assassin could do a Kickboxing... Stun them then kick them. I think it would be a fun playstyle.

what does Tithe mean by the way? anyways i dunno why, but i just dont think thsi armor is right. you say u wanna give 2h pallies a chance, but what i see here is a godly foher armor or something. it fits them well. huge fhr, hp, def, 2 skills, max pdr. sure they get no mana, but how many hits do you really need with that skill?
maybe if it had like -2 all skills (all classes) and some enhanced damage with 2h weap mod, then people wouldnt use it for a 1h char...but this would make chargers devistating.

Tithe is what the church collects from people. (like a tax.) 25% is alot, though.

I personally hate pallies (never got the hang of using skills on left click ... shifting is clumsy), so I have no comment.

I'm not sure what would happen if you ran out of arrows. They might disappear. I do know however that quivers of arrows can be moded.

But either way this would be a good way to help out a sorry build... the immolation zon does practiclly no damage and it only fires ever so often.

This won't put the Immolation damage above roughly 3000-3500 in builds so I'd say it would be ok.

I guess they would be fun for Enchantresses, but you aren't looking at more than 125 explosion damage and 62 damage/second. So I'd say its not overpowered at all.

Probably the best thing about it. Not having to go to town to replace arrows.

i agree entirely, i think it should be possible for arrows/bolts to spawn with CERTAIN magical properties. for instance replenish quantity, cold/fire/light/psn damage, ar, damage. nothing overkill. im talking like a max of maybe 20-25% ed, maybe 100 per element, replenish 1 in like 20-30 sec.
the unique idea ROCKS. i think its a great thing. potions are so awful and underused a really sick unique one would be amazing.

how bout "Skeleton Key" a unique key that doesnt dissapear...but its super rare, and can only be found in a chest. :lol: they would be impossible to find, but if u did find one you could open anything and never need another key again. oh yes it should be equippable for 5-10 damage just because it would be fun to kill something with a key.

pretty nice, that makes a nice hammerdin shield but its drawbacks will make them think. id say that is pretty balenced, because as we all know vit and res are vital to characters, especially in hell, and even moreso for those that need to tank like hammerdins do. this is the kind of elite unique we need, well maybe not something so specialized but something with great mods but drawbacks that are noticible.
