Weather dependant modifiers was another initial idea to D2 but never came out to final version...
All those map hack users that allways have daylight and sunny weather will never experience those mods :lol:
Also, act2 is a pain in the @ss for that bow :)

going with my fremen theme:). if you recall, crysknifes are either fixed or unfixed. unfixed means that they can be used for combat but need to be near owners, fixed means it can be stored but not used to fight.

I did some crazy testings in single player just to see what skills can be used by other classes then intended. I tried using shadow warrior with a barb and it turned out headless. :scratch: I think it's because I was wearing arreats face, and since it's a barb only helm the shadow warrior wasn't capable of using it.
Given this, I think it's not that absurd that a shadow warrior would mimic other classes skills. But then again, it might only mimic gear and use assa skills (wich is more likely imo).

I've been testing it too. I made some items with shadow warrior and shadow master skills. Shadow warrior mimics some sorc skills but the spell animation wont start. She won't use druid skills or ama skills.
I made an armor with +40 evade, avoid and dodge and equipped it on a druid. He uses ama scream sounds while evading but can't trigger the evade animation, it's ama only. Instead, he starts the de-morph animation but the de-moph won't complete.
More tests would be fun to make.

The oskills would obviously have a cap of +3 for zons. The purpose of this helm is to make the Pus Spitter a desireable weapon for a necro (a summoning nec won't suffer from strafe lock) and to enhance the viability of such sub-classes as the Ranger and the Ranged Enchantress. Would also make Hellrack somewhat useful for something other than a Fury Wolf.
 
D'oh! I really shoulda read the thread before posting, save a double post. At least my ideas aren't overpowered, some of these are just well, hmmm...

I too miss the negative attributes of D1. Unfortunately when I suggested a multi zod runeword armour I was told it was waaay overpowered...I still don't think so. It was along the lines of:

Adamantine
Armour
+150% enhanced defence
Immune to Physical
-60%-100% all resist (varies)
+100% stamina drain
+50% Requirements

That's not exactly it was but something along those lines that can only be dropped by baal, when it's snowing outside and its nighttime and there are 3 ppl in the game and all act 5 has been cleared (in other words insanely difficult to find) in an ornate plate to give all classes the opportunity to use might be good.

Also gotta say that Bush's Folly was sheer genius!! :lol:

Love the druid turning into a Yeti too.

And I think I meant Vambraces for the Runic Bracers...
