New Elite Uniques : If you should invent them ?

Time to create the last unique Charm :lol: ! You'll notice that I really like the items that evolve with the character's level :thumbsup: !

The Smith
Unique Identifying Scroll

Identifies the item and gives it one perfect varying random mod.

For example, identifying War Traveler with it could bring you either 190% Defense, or 10 Attacker Takes Damage, or 50% Magic Find :thumbsup: !

It would be very interesting to identify Windforce with such a scroll, because since there is only one varying mod on this bow, you'd be sure to get a 8% ML one :jig: !

EDIT : This scroll should be rare enough (TC 80+ for example).

I think the changes on "personalize item quest" to "enhancing quest" would do better than this scroll.

Unique scrolls would be a nice idea if they came with a recipe in it, a runeword for example. I think in the beta stage of diablo II blizzard thougt of adding this, but never came out on final version...

Higher/better recipe scrolls should be hard to find just like the runes itself. The scroll would list the complete recipe ingredients and to make things a little more difficult, the recipe would only work while possessing the scroll and the scroll could would disapear when the recipe was complete. This way you must have the scroll in order to cook the recipe, and you need to find another one in order to cook the same recipe again (no write down the recipe on a post-it).

Hmm, every time i see a thread like this i hafta do make something pyroish...its more fun like that ^^.
i know it said non used items, but i have a thing for heavier armors that you can actually see on your character. (unlike wyrmhides and stuff... so.....unless its a special looking wyrmhide, i just want this thing to have presence.)

If it was indestructible, you couldn't ever find an ethereal one :lol: !
Unless of course, the ethereal AND indestructible mods are inherent to the item (like Ethereal Edge for example).

???? im lost here, i did say i intended it never to be eth right next to the indes mod. i just dont want an armor like that floating around. a sacred can hit approx 600 def.......eth = 900. with a perfect 100% def thats 1800 def...aka too much if u ask me.


Edit: diamoak i really like that falcata there, might be a bit over the top, specially for babas but i really love those mods ^^. id love to see instead if it had like 3 to frenzy for all classes. dual wielding those would be awesome pvm.

dude....remember the .08 valor? there was a reason blizz severely nerfed it.....and frankly what you have there has all the same mods plus dr, mdr, res, -reqs, and fhr...thats too godly. sure now we dont have people teleporting around....we have sorcs with 8k hp.
