I've done 100 countess runs out of boredom and a bit of necessity. I'm looking for a Lem to slap a treachery on my Merk. I've found an Um, Mal and just now had an Ohm drop. Still no Lem. Not a bad haul for not seriously running anything.

Funny how RNG goes, search and search and when your not really searching anymore they keep dropping. Couldn't find a monarch for my first few months now I have a dozen spare ones just sitting in my stash waiting for a use.
Lately I have a lot of LEM dropping, I have 6 now. If you want one you can have one.
Thank you but it would be wasted. Seems like every few months I delete my stashes and start over. I wish the end game kept me interested but I'm far more interested in doing the untwinked thing then killing my guys off to start over. Don't know why but I love it!

Yeah, seeing that Zod drop while playing with @John Remedy was a serious shock to the system. I don't remember what it was exactly, but I know I was in the middle of speaking some pointless sentence when I first saw it. Went something like this:

Since he mentioned my FaithZon in that post, I should probably show off the Faith bow I made a little while ago using the Jah I reported back in early May:
It's a good roll thankfully, but even though I put serious consideration on how to spend the Jah I felt serious regret soon after making it. I don't have an Enigma yet, so to use the rune on a potential MF 'zon was kinda short-sighted. Worse, I found a +12% ED 4os Diamond Bow shortly afterward and then a +3 4os GMB almost immediately after that. And... as JR said, I asked him to help me level the character afterward. It's... not a powerhouse like I thought it might be. Can only run the Pits at /p1 with ~275 MF with my current set up. Probably gonna end up rolling a Fortitude at some point, sacrifice a little MF, and see if I can't push it up to /p3 or maybe open up some CS runs.
Just means I'm on the lookout for another Jah. ...And some Bers for an Infinity. Started running LK for the first time in years in preparation for the MFO, so we'll see what happens over the next few weeks!

I was playing D1 long after my peak levels of fun, cause I wanted to find a good King's (bastard) sword of Haste. And a good Awesome Full plate of Stars or some other good affix.In the end I purchased a King's broad sword off Griswold and found a King's (bastard) sword of Speed. Close enough. A bug kept the Speed affix just as fast and cheaper to repair. Not sure if I can post that here but I'll show you one.

Thanks to @d2lover for the base, and some converted runes I managed to get the requirements for my first Infinity. Not an amazing roll, but I'm happy with it

So after seeing this sexy thread and your really nice site I've decided to join the casino of Diablo 2 from absolute scratch again . Here's my blizzsorc who's been gambling in AT for about 100+ runs. She made it to hell a few days ago being seriously destitute and slow at clearing enemies, but I already got pretty much all the mercenary gear i needed from AT and now the runs at the tunnels are a real breeze.
I also got an eth tresher which was turned to Obedience, aldurs boots that I'm wearing, and the incredibly juicy eth cryptic axe which is rawking an Insight(252ed 13 med) atm. So far I've made three Insights and all have rolled 13 meditation. But even with the lowish mediation aura it's still much faster than with Obedience, since I'm not wasting time managing blue pots anymore and the mercenary seems to kills CI's somewhat faster as well with the new weapon . I gave the mercenary Arkaine's armor , since I haven't found a single eth armor yet and he seems to be doing fine most of the time, so it's looking pretty good. It's probably time to play the Mephisto slot machine next or throw some dice at Lower Kurast .

Not sure how ubiquitous that saying might be these days, but a quick google search shows it was around as far back as 2004. Could be even older than that. It persisted long enough that it was used as the greeting quote for the D3 SPF guild.
In IFT news, just finished up an MP sesh with my boi @John Remedy. Got a 2nd Stormspire (and the 3rd one JR's seen in a week; he found one solo leveling a character in the Pits earlier today!), and in the span of maybe an hour we got three -- count 'em -- three facets. All of them were grailers for me, so bonus.

To be honest, the Exile runes are not very costly, if I had the runes, I would build it in a 40+ sacred targe and not be sorry.
Obviously eth sacred targe is better, but the thrill to roll it is too immense for me XD
