Adria - Inventory Management System

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

Can this write my stash and inventory to a single text file?
Does it work for runes?
Because I have my char full of runes now.
Sorry about the delay in my reply ... filming, compressing and upload takes some time.

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

This is so brilliant.

I got it working. But I have a problem, in my first try, it asked me to identify symbols in item description, and I typed lots of gibberish for various symbols, which I did not realize what it means until after. Now if I add another item, lots of symbols are recognized as gibberish, and I do not know how to change them or delete those gibberish I typed in previous try.

How can I delete those symbol identifications? Thanks.

The most probably reason for getting that message is that you've not filled in the symbol library (have you ever gotten the add symbol dialog?). Deactivate singlelock and try again, and also try moving the item to another position.

Always when requesting help regarding scanning issue: include a screenshot in your post!

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

About the gibberish I typed earlier for symbols identification, here is a picture of one item I scanned.
How can I change those gibberish, or can I delete them all together?

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

Another question for you, Kijya.
I used it yesterday, everything is great, I scanned all my mules pretty fast.

But there is a problem, the small Adria window in Diablo stopped responding after every few minutes(can not use F12 to close it, and all other functions also do not work). Then I will need to just close Adria in taskbar, and restart it, it will start working again. But after couple minutes, it will not respond again.

And I am using windows 7 Enterprise.

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

That is a windows 7 specific issue and we've still not quite figured out how to avoid it happening. Basically the keyhook we use simply stops working, and we know how to restore it but not how to detect when it happens.

Justaplayer might be able to give better info on the status of fixing that issue, since he's in charge of the keyhook code.

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

I like to collect set items, but the view in adria only group items by their type.
Is there any way to group items by sets? So I can easily see which item in the set I am still missing.
Thanks.

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

I think you mean that adria groups by class (swords, armors, helms etc) as the default, grouping by type would probably produce the result you're looking for in combination with sorting on name.

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

Finally got this program working and I simply love it! Great level of support from Kijya and staff. Hats off to you, sir.

I come with hopefully an easy question. As I have been adding items to my OCR image database I have noticed that for some reason it treats "F" as "p". Instead of "Firelizard's Talons" it rights "pirelizard's Talons".

How might I address this?

I am running Windows 7, Diablo 2 LoD windowed, and Adria 4.4.0 beta.

Edit: My temporary solution was clearing the single letter database. Is that the only option?

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

For such errors you have four options in the 4.4.0 beta version:

  1. Opening the items.mdb file with microsoft access and removing or editing the incorrect entries for F in the "CharSet" table (an entry that has "p" in the "Char" column).
  2. Clear custom (another button near the other clear buttons), and specifying "p" as the letter to be removed.
  3. Clear single just as you did, it removes all letters so naturally you'd remove the incorrect ones ... bit more work since you have to reenter everything.
  4. Autofix it, settings=>OCR=>correction manager, in the autofix tab you click on the table to give it focus and hit insert. There you can specify corrections to be applied though search and replace. It's foremost meant to fix errors on specific words, might not be the best idea when all F's are being incorrectly recognized, but in theory you could enter all words that start with "F", or enter a pattern that will find them all ...

Options (1) will be easier to perform in the next version, I've already made changes so that the symbols are stored in txt files outside the mdb and added controls for it. The next version isn't quite ready yet as I've still got a few more changes that needs to be done, but so far I think it's looking fairly good ... :whistling:

Next version will in general focus on the symbol libraries. I'm attempting to lower the needed number of times the "add symbol" dialog will pop up, partly by changing the way symbols are recognized so that symbol color plays a lesser role, and partly by removing more of the incorrect entries to the sides of the item description (those that happen when the left and right boarders are overestimated).
The next version will hopefully also come with a complete symbol library, however it will of course depend on your graphic settings if you can make use of it or not. (Your settings will have to be close to mine, if they're not you'll have to remove my entries and create your own). I've also added a symbol overview dialog to give an idea of what symbols might be missing.

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

Great Program!
You really do a good job monitoring, I had asked a question but I foudn the answer in the pages :)

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

What should I do if every capital M is getting automatically parsed as an A?
Er, same thing as Internets? Use option 2 (clear custom) to remove all entries for the letter A, and then reenter the symbols correctly.

M and A are different enough that it must be a input error during the add symbol phase, so removing the incorrect entry and re-identifying it should solve your problem.

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

didn't edit it in time lol
Is there a way to edit class for items that are put under N/A?

U should consider making Runes a class

Runes are a class, if they're not recognized as runes then the color or name must be wrong. A correct scan look like this:

Code:
[o]Ber Rune
[w]Can be Inserted into Socketed Items
[w]Weapons: 20% Chance of Crushing Blow
[w]Armor: Damage Reduced by 8%
[w]Helms: Damage Reduced by 8%
[w]Shields: Damage Reduced by 8%
[w]Required Level: 63

As I think you'd notice if the rune name was wrong I assume it's the color ... Go to settings=>OCR and make sure the orange values for text color are correct (the value should be taken from one of the brightest pixels in a orange letter).

Also note that you can use multiscan for runes (see video in first post).

Re: Adria - Inventory Management System

Hmm ok I'll try that
Also, today I tried using Adria for the second time (to add items from another mule)
and the F8 and F5 keys did not respond with any prompt or addition when I pressed them. Items were not added nor did the find symbol pop up. OCR mode enabled fine and I was able to use arrow keys to select the character. Other keys such as F1-4 and F9-11 were working properly. The locks were set to Off. I hadn't made any changes to the program files. Any possible reason for this? (The last time I used the program it was properly working and I have a few mules set up already).
