The winner was in front by quite a bit, with second place separated from a larger pack in the 50s. Thanks again to everyone who sent results quickly so this could get posted promptly. I'm only missing results from one person, but not sure if completed because I didn't see posts after sign up. I'll update if needed. Meet the Rune Finders thread is posted here.

My Untwinked 99er Sorc had herself some crazy RNG for Round 1. I pushed her to 97.2 the weekend before the Round started (picking up Vex, Ber, Um, Gul in about 4 hours and thinking I'd spent my luck). More importantly, I found a Nightwing's, which up'ed her damage noticeably, with only one skiller. She got >4M in the last hour of running before RFL, so I was aiming for 3.1B for the round, an got her to 3.11B for pretty nice XP.

As to the round, let's just say luck is luck: 10 qualifiers, 8 of which were 10+ pointers (I had three Ohms in addition to the top 5). That's a pretty low odds occurrence, I'd say Here's her haul pick, followed by the round break-down:

Just over 30 minutes into the set:

Then a Pul at the 2.5 hour mark, followed by the second Cham within 3 hours complete, the Jah at just over 4 hours, and the first Ohm just before 5 hours:

Less than an hour later, the Lo dropped (for Cham x2, Jah, Lo and Ohm within 6 hours):

We then had 6 hours of nothing until the Ber made its appearance just after 12 hours:

The second Ohm showed up just before 15 hours, then Mal and the third Ohm approaching the 18 hour mark:

As a bonus, she picked up a second Skiller shortly after the Ohm, and then a Light Skiller shortly after that (for 2 for her). The only other notable non-qualifier for the last 10 hours was a 34AR/7MF SC.

Congrats on the round win @PhineasB, very nice!

I ran with my HC chars in D2R, mostly with Mosaic Assassin but also some WW Barb and Pit Necro.

Here's my haul from the first set, missing one Gul which I used for another Mosaic roll:



Decent quantity but not the best quality. I started a second set and ran for some ~10 hours netting Ohm, 2x Mal, Ist, Pul.

Non-qualifiers posted here, here, here and here. They were much better than my rune haul and included:

• 3/14/19 fine sc of vita
• 3/19/17 fine sc of vita

Ran 40 hours of 1.07 and somehow snagged 3rd place?!

My first set was 20 hours with only an ist ;(

2nd set netted me an Um and a Pul.

But even if it is only an ist it's part of my 2023 goals to find 4, so im very happy. 1.07 will be the death of me :rollseyes:

For now im off to 1.00!

Since I had only the one qualifier I'm not going to post a pic of all my findings on the ground around me. After being shut out on the first 20 hours I wondered just how many runes I had found so during the second set I put every rune I found on one of my mules. A lot of low level junk as you can see.



The terror zones were not kind to me and dropped very few runes. The vast majority of runes were found running Travincal as was the only qualifier I found.

16 qualifiers after 2113 Trav runs:

My top 5 dropped in the first half of the set, and the second half were just pul - gul fillers. More Mosaic rerolls I guess?
About 3 hours of Trav were TZ.

I ran almost exclusively Arcane Sanctuary, only managed about 75 minutes of terrorized running, the rest was just standard /players7
My runner was my level 94 ES/Nova Sorc that used to be a destined untwinked 99er but when I forwarded to D2R from 1.14d I decided to twink her with what I had figuring I would never have the time to reach 99 anyway, and then managed to farm a torch in D2R for her. No annihilus yet though.

Congratulation @PhineasB - A very impressive haul, must be one of the highest Zod free scores. @Gripphon had a 3 Cham score once though IIRC.

I ran Arcane Sanctuary for 8 hours at /p7, then Chaos Sanctuary for the rest at /p5. Drops were not really what I was hoping for, with only the Ohm of use to me.



But sometimes it isn't the rune drop but the runeword results that count:
