Post 42 is related to post 228 because they share the same core idea. In post 42, you advance the idea of vote 2 being used to lynch scum to "thin the herd." In post 228, you advance the idea of vote 2 being used to "keep the 75%." After several players comment on that, you say post 228 was a miswording. You said you weren't advancing the idea of using vote 2 to lynch scum but rather to NOT lynch someone who might not be scum. Fine. However, you still have post 42, which has that very idea you say was misworded in post 228. Did you misword BOTH posts?
Thinning the heard of scum help us keep the 75% votes. What are you trying to accomplish here?
Post 42: Vote2 used to lynch scum - thin the heard of mafia
Post: 228: Vote2 to keep the 75% - thin the heard of mafia.
You are clearly misreading what I wrote. My mistype was when I said "lynching OMG would NOT help the town" As I've explained in many other posts prior to here, that was a mistake as other posts do show that I believe OMG could be used as pro town votes early on.
I don't know why you would say that unless you are absolutely certain. It's a pretty bold statement, but I'm gonna trust you for now.
Yeah, guess who's absolutely certain who's on their team and who isn't? Mafia.
A quick attempt at getting the heat off him by ML. I find it interesting that you are going after kestegs not because you think he is scum, but because other people do .... seems like you are trying to find the easiest lynch target.
If you were around all day you would have seen the progress go like this:
Moar at Me
Me at Moar
Moar at Me
etc.
There were a few other people w/ input, and a lot of lurkers. I said it once before that I feel the lurkers are dangerous, why?
What are your top scum right now? Kegs, Me, Mal
I read into what went on w/ Kegs and I didn't feel there was anything substantial
Mal, I believe you are wrong about Mal - just picking at a stupid post by him, he did say he is new to this.
Fairly strong words from Moar, she seems rather confident that ML is scum and willing to put herself on the line as well.
Well guess you have your vote tomorrow set out for you then.
This post seems a little odd to me, yes you do not want to lose sight of other people, but if (like Moar seems to believe) you really think someone is mafia you should definitely hound them until they provide a good reason not to vote you (and saying voting lurkers is a better idea doesn't really cut it).
This kind of applies to what was said above. I didn't just look @ lurkers b/c they lurker, I looked for the people who seemed dangerous. Nulio doesn't quite seem to show a true post restriction (maybe he got a lesson from OMG) and with the scum list people have, I don't feel that any of them are enough to dig more into yet.
Why is it a waste of time to focus on someone that most of us believe to be scum? So far all you appear to be doing is trying to find another easy target. Explain to us why we shouldn't target you?
I thought we were over this? Btw Me and Moar we shot back and forth. You all keep coming back to my views on keeping OMG alive, which were explained before - then it was that you misread my own posts. What else is there?
No you are not voting / unvoting people, but you appear to be testing the water on people you perceive as easy targets, First with kestegs, second with Nulio.
Oh there is this. How was I testing the water? On the suspect list, again, I'll explain, Kegs, Me, Mal.
I don't believe that Mal is scum from his posts so far
Kegs, I said I'd look into it. A number of people has said kegs was scummy, but I didn't see it, so I wanted to go back and read. What's wrong with that? Trying to see what others see? Maybe there is/was some substantial red flags thrown off that would warrant me giving him my vote?
@MartinLong: Provide us with a reason why you shouldn't be lynched today and why we should lynch someone else, because from my point of view you are the scummiest player atm.
I have explained my self, time and time again. I highly doubt anything will change before days end. So, I'll hand in my badge and watch from the grave.
- he has failed to answer Goryani's questions.
- Sathoris was killed, going after him the previous day.
- He was trying to deflect heat left and right, when under pressure.
However, where do we go from there? If he flips Scum? If he flips Town?
-Question: When did I skip Gory's questions? You do realize that I was posting all day yesterday and til late in the night. We are on different time zones and I need my sleep.
-Trying to deflect heat? Sure, but you know what else I was doing? Trying to find scum while Moar nitpicks at a misworded posts. I could, if it were OK with you, to just sit around and fight back with Moar and not concentrate on the other 22 players in the game.
What stuck me strange is that he votes for Nulio in post
# 283. Why? Nulio had 0% chance of getting lynched today. Alternate candidates in Malevolent and kestegs were available, and should he wanted to get the train swung away from him he could have voted for either of them. But Nulio? Really?
Possibilities that occurred to me :
- he is Scum and both candidates are his Scum buddies and he does not want to get either of them lynched, so he votes a Townie. Unlikely because both alternate candidates the would then have bussed him.
- he is Town, and voting for someone that he truly believes is Scum.
- he is either Scum or Town, and absolutely anyone will do at that point to get him out of the spotlight.
I've explained my intentions towards the scum suspect list twice in the post, but to say it again. I won't vote for some one who I think isn't scum.
Kegs and Mal could have been great candidates, but where does that leave town?
I steer head the wagon on the Mal, mal turns town, next day I am the #1 target b/c I steer-headed the train to him.
After that, town is left with 20 in two nights (say 2 town lynches, 2 NK's over two days). You now need 15 people to hold a vote2.
How long could the town hold a 75% vote? How easy do you think it's going to be to get the mafia to control your vote2 and get you to lynch a townie? As of now, you don't have many real suspects at all (through my analysis).
First of all, I think he will flip scum. And if he does that - great.
If he doesn't there has still been a lot of talk about him, a lot of post regarding him, and there are some specific people that would probably be in the spotlight.
I see no solution that I would be nearly as satisfied with as lynching him.
Seems like you're just jumping on the wagon for an easy coast there FoE. You have some sound logic, you think I'll flip scum, but if I don't, well guess what town is down another player and mafia is that much closer to winning.
