Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

... Any special reason you left off Noodle from that list of people he was quoting though? Also, do you not believe Flip when he says there the roleblocker is anti-town?...

My point was Noammr questioned Malevolent and Asrrin regarding their thoughts on possible lynch choices. He then proceeds to pose the question to kestegs on Malevelont’s credibility. Noodle’s post was irrelevant to this point.
As far as believing Flip, I presume the role blocker to be a rogue element not mafia. I could be wrong. Of course it’s anti-town, my guess is it’s not mafia but one of those “fun†variables Gorny puts into the game. I’m still withholding my judgment on boogyman only because I don’t want to assume anything.

Can someone explain to me the exact case being made against Noodle, please?

I invite you to reading my post against Noodle. He's making subtle notions towards not lynching zemaj and eventually jumps on the bandwagon to avoid suspicion the day after. I've found out over night that corax has additional info against him but I'm going to leave the revealing of that to him when he shows up (which I hope will be in a timely fashion).

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

I need to use less of the subjunctive tense >.> Anyhow, here's a repost with a more concise meaning than the vague statements in the last one.

Ok, here's my results after scanning through the posting history thus far.

Starting with Noodle.

The fact he doesn't post much worries me. Considering day 1, I've counted a total of 6 posts, most of which are short and don't offer any form of insight.

I will say that I assume Valhouros is clean. He broke the code of flubby's post restriction, and making more information public to the town is never in scum's best interest.

That is actually a little insignificant the way I see it. Considering it is day one, there is little information that could be gained from cracking the post restriction on day one. It's nice that we were able to understand Valhouros but the restriction changed the day after, and we still don't know who exactly controls it, we only have a theory.

I'd be willing to throw a vote on coju, if there was some momentum. Just seems to be a bit reckless, which worries me.

You say you are willing to throw a reckless vote and that it worries you.

[3 posts later]
OK, Drixx.

vote: coju

but you do it anyway around 3 posts later. If you're against, why would you vote? And it's not like it was that big of a bandwagon anyway (only 3 people). Even then, at the time, zemaj and drixx were much better targets.

So day 1 wasn't the best we've seen anyway. Fine. Let's move on to day 2

Still trying to make sense of things, kestegs. I agree with others that Drixx has verged on contradicting himself, so I wouldn't be against a lynch there. Ankeli I find difficult to take real seriously in these games, as he's basically a rabid dog. He'll target anyone he sees, for no apparent reason.

Wasn't it Ankeli who poked zemaj and got him on the skewer in the first place? Sounds like you're trying to discredit him, making the attack less significant imo.

I would caution against locking a lynch too soon - we have plenty of time to play with, and locking a lynch prematurely limits our flexibility to change if zemaj or whoever the target is comes in with a seemingly valid explanation, or if someone else makes a gaffe and inadvertently drops evidence that he / she is scum.

It's hard to get voting to stop just before the locking vote, since it's only 1 vote away from the lynching one. In that case, we would have to be well before it. Idk what to think of it now, it seems more innocent now that I read it, but when I quoted this I had the feeling it was attempt to stall the vote a little so, you can ignore this one if you are so inclined.

I'm going to be in and out of meetings all day, so I'll cast my vote now. I feel there have been enough opportunities for zemaj to defend himself.

vote: zemaj

And so a policy vote to merge in with the town's bandwagon.

And then, on Day 3, Uraj apparently tries to frame Noodle for not voting against Zemaj (or that's what Noodle deciphers), which he revokes by saying he obviously did (i don't feel like looking up the posts, look them up in the search) trying to make Uraj sound like scum.

Now, I see Noodle is at least attempting to make his posts more content, but for the time being

Vote: Noodle

I don't have much time to traverse the rest of folks on my list so this is all I post for now (I figure the sooner the better). If anyone finds discrepancies in my post, I'll gladly hear them. For now, that's where I stand.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

I forgot to remove the vote from the copy of the post. Shouldn't matter, I already voted I think anyhow.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Vote: Flubbucket

ryleh couldn't have put is better for me.

flub, self voting is NEVER helpfull for ANYONE, you are either scum, or you are wasting the towns time, much like drixx was.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

good morning everyone. it is always important to carry a knife.

if we get enough wanting it i will role claim, but i will tell you right now i am town and my non-lynch ability was a one shot.

also money where my mouth is.

vote: noodle

I’m trying to determine the logic in this, but I must be missing something. I thought I explained the self voting quite succinctly. This, to me, appears to be a knee-jerk response to my post regarding Noammr’s presumed investigative ability.

Also associating me with Drixx, a known townie…..well you might want to rethink that position. It might not bode well for you.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

I've caught up with the new posts, but haven't had a whole lot of time to look into who pings the scumdar.

Also until I make up my mind on things...

Unvote: Asrrin

Seems less scummy having read his posts.

Sorry for the absence though. I finally managed to sleep well, and didn't get out of bed until nearly 1 pm. :D Watched a bit of Game of Thrones with my brother and 2 friends. And as soon as I got back home from my brothers, my new chair needed assembling. New week, new computer chair, caught up on some sleep a bit and I'm fit for fight.

I don't see the logic in you voting for yourself when there were two viable trains already formed. I understand your reasoning in theory, but you doing that only made it less likely that we got a Lynch yesterday.

Sorry, if its not clear, that was directed at flubby

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Is there a Noodle train forming up? With Boogie's post 803/4 I can see why, I need to read Noodle's posts myself though.

*runs and reads posts*

You haven't posted any suspicion towards Noodle before now, other than a quick "you're quiet". So why the vote now, especially with no reasoning behind it? Could you please elaborate on your reasoning behind this vote?

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Care to explain RE?

The number of votes I have is two

And like a broken tape I'll seem
and to lynch Flubb I prehaps am keen
But no good reason for a self-vote than an unvote I have seen

You can attract far more bees with honey
but for now Flubs got my money.

nope. self voting was silly. if it was to confirm a lynch last minute of the day so you would reveal info to help the town sure. yours was silly.

As far as i can read into it malevolent isn't associating you with drixx for anything more than you being distracting to the town.

@CG: boogey sums it up nicely here.
