Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

why would you think there are masons in the game? what type of star wars/trek character would fit into something like that?

The most plausible way it would work is if all the captains were part of the "masons" group, kind of like Thundercat's officers in his game.

Oh I got in, I thought I missed the signups. Yay me.

Zhao, guess what? ;)

If such a group existed, would each of them know who the others are?

Yes. At least we did in TC's game.

I wonder how weapons are done in the game. I'm not too familiar with ST myself, but I do recall Kirk an co. using some silly looking phasers. Do they have any other type of handheld weaponry?

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

So am i the only one that knows poo about ST? All i know is that i saw a bald guy sitting in silly posture in a silly chair, an asian robot and some guy with wierd sunglasses.

I wonder about Ivan's and Noammr's posting restrictions... There hasn't been a night yet, so no one could've done that to them. I'm guessing they're that way until they can find someone by night who can revert them back to normal. Does that sound plausible?

Nah, they are faking so should probably be lynch the first chance we get.

Yarrr!

Should I bother pushing you this round? Who was the one who couldn't grasp gambler's fallacy, Bad Ash? :P

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

The alleged post restrictions probably aren't that big a deal unless krazey can't change his pattern in the next day phase. Noammr was at least able to change his pattern from beeps to binaries, but what concerns me is that he is insinuating a role-claim for a star wars character. Granted, r2d2 DID show up in the latest star trek movie, but at the moment I won't assume that their claims are true just yet.

Krazey, if you are speaking in code, might you provide us with a link to help us decipher it?

000.001 for yes, you're speaking in code
000.000 for no, you're not speaking in code

I'm in a lynching mood and this safety day annoys me greatly. Who should we lynch Ankeli, to make an example?

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Werent you two sworn enemies? Now youre working together?
Thats a bit odd.

I think it was more of a Monarch/Dr. Venture relationship, where the Monarch wanted to kill Venture and Venture just found Monarch annoying.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Who said we were sworn enemies? Ankeli may be jealous of my gaming genius but we understand that our rivalry is a civil one.

How about this, the 4th post after mine, whomever the poster is, I'm going to push their lynch tomorrow. Let's injects some jiggy into this game.

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

Leo, would you care to roleclaim?

Re: In A Mirror Darkly - Star Trek Mafia Forum Game Thread

A lot of people we haven't heard from so far, will Gorny be mod-killing the inactives on Day 0, or do they get a freebie today?

Either way, I hope that everyone that plays will at least give a resounding "Present!" post to let the others know that they understand the game has started and didn't sign up just to sign up. Lots of new faces worry me.
