<noinclude>Tal Rasha's Wrappings is an Item Set used most often by the Sorceress in Diablo_II Diablo II.
Background
Tal Rasha was one of the greatest Horadric Mages ever to live. He hunted for Baal after the Dark Exile and sought to bind Baal to a Soul Stone like his brothers Diablo and Mephisto. However, during their battle, the Soul Stone Tal Rasha was intending to use was broken. Tal Rasha took up the largest piece of the Soul Stone and thrust it into Baal, temporarily trapping his soul. However, knowing this wouldn't last for long, he also had his brothers restrain him inside a tomb, and then thrust the stone into his body, to leave him to wrestle with the demon for eternity.

The cloth which people used to be swaddled in before they were interred were sometimes known as wrappings, so this set could be made up of the items in which Tal Rasha was buried in, although in the Diablo cinematics Tal Rasha does not appear as characters do when wearing the full set of Tal Rasha's Wrappings.

General Notes
While the full set is designed for (and can only be equipped by, thanks to the Orb) a Sorceress, the armor is a very popular item for all types of characters and even mercs, thanks to the huge magic find, defense, and resistance. It's also common to find magic find-geared characters of all types using the armor, helm, and belt, since equipping any three items from this set grants a 65% bonus to Magic Find, and the armor, helm, and belt hold substantial bonuses, including dual leech, high resistance, magic find, and much more.

* Gambling for set and unique items was enabled in v1.09.
* Item Level: Used in many in-game calculations. Monsters must be of this level to drop the item.
* Clvl req is the character level you need to be to be able to wear the item.

Weapon Notes
The origins of this set is unknown, however. It could just be the name it always had, be some sort of magically infused burial wrappings, or named after burial wrappings after his prolonged death.

* Damage Bonus: This determines how you multiply the item damage by your stats to reach the actual damage. Multiply by the listed value per 100 points in that stat. All bows are 100 Dex, almost all melee weapons are 100 Str, most throwing weapons are 50/50.
* Weapon Speed: A relative comparison to other weapons of the same type. 0 is the base -10, -20, etc is faster, 10, 20, etc is slower, always in increments of 10.
* Range: Melee only. From 1 (least) to 5 (most) in D2X. Numbers are fixed across item classes: a 3 javelin = a 3 sword = a 3 hammer, etc.

Armor Notes
If it was his actual burial wrappings, then the cinematic cinematic don't show him in the aura displayed while wearers have the whole set today.

* Light Armor: No stamina or speed penalties.
* Medium Armor: +5% stamina drain and speed penalty.
* Heavy Armor: +10% stamina drain and speed penalty.

This is an Expansion-only set.
There is also a chance these items are not at all canon canon in terms of lore.

Partial set bonuses stack. If you are wearing three items, then you will get the bonus for wearing two items as well as the bonus for wearing three items. Full set bonuses stack on top of the partial bonuses, so if there is a partial bonus of +40 Life, and a full bonus of +40 Mana, with the complete set, you would receive both +40 life and +40 mana.
